I live in rural Japan and I am one of those purple potatoes trying to make a difference. I am also a passionate serial entrepreneur. Some of my pre-seed startups include: Beekeeking Japan, ePrize, Southern Shakespeare Festival, Genesis Productions Worldwide, The Digital Arena, EDUIT, Wikitube.TV, and  FOUNDUPS I am also the founder of the Open Startup and fledgling eSingularity Movement on Facebook and run a number of LinkedIn groups. I am an innovator but like over 99% of innovators and inventors lack the funding to bring about their ideas. Crowdfunding is a great tool for us.
