<p>Jackson Landers is an advocate for sustainable hunting as a critical component of the local food movement. His deer hunting classes for adult beginners have been covered by the New York Times, the Washington Post, and NPR.</p> <p>More recently, he founded the 'invasivore' movement to encourage the eating of invasive species. His work against invasive species has been covered by the New York Times, Audubon Magazine, Mother Jones, NPR, and dozens of other magazines and newspapers. He has been featured as a speaker by the US State Department, the Outdoor Writers Association of America and the University of Virginia.</p> <p>Landers is the published author of several books and writes occasionally for Slate.com. He lives near Charlottesville, Virginia with his two children and two dogs.</p>
