W.I.L.D. stands for "What I Love Doin'!"
Some of you may recognize Ben Hollis as the safari-suited, original host and co-creator of the PBS hit show Wild Chicago. Ben has 8 Emmy Awards to his credit, plus the coveted Studs Terkel Media Award. “A local legend,” is how both The Chicago Tribune and Sun-Times have described Ben, one of Chicago’s most original and beloved TV personalities. Ben is also a copywriter and award-winning producer of corporate communications for clients such as GE, Allstate, State Farm, Underwriters Laboratories (UL), SBC and many more. In addition to producing videos, Ben has written and emceed live conferences for Keebler, GE, Motorola, Heller Financial, the JUF and Judge & Dolph. Ben is married to an awesome lady named Julia Bunn. They live in Andersonville on Chicago’s north side. He loves London and Kauai and is known in some circles as a gifted cat whisperer. Ben is a graduate of The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., with a B.A. in American Lit’. The year he graduated is immaterial.
