Overview

Overcome the actual limitations of Web (2.0), Web of 'Documents' with the advent of a 3.0 Web of Data where what once was realized for static / dynamic 'pages' for humans consumption may be realized by 'pages' prepared for machine consumption on behalf of processes and business domains enhancements through the use of intelligent agents.

Abstract

As a Web developer I've realized the current Web must be supported by a 'backing' Web of Data where documents are a natural consequence of business domain processes.
Migrating from a traditional Web of documents rendering database operations to a domain driven data backed paradigm should embrace the promise of interoperability between applications in an almost seamless manner.
Collaborating parties will be seeding the roots of a different paradigm in which to face business domain applications and integration in an entirely data oriented fashion.

Requirements and objectives

As an IT project, funding will be mostly used for services, hiring and infrastructure.
Once Web of data vision is realized the benefits will be more and more evident in simple and everyday tasks.
As this is a project in the inception phase, funding, although not being the complete funds asked for the campaign, will kickstart anyway the startup of the efforts of development and implementation.

Impact

Contribute in the deployment of the next Web
Having 18+ years of experience in Web Apps development I think this paradigm shift is necessary.
Everyday tasks will be enhanced / augmented by the ubiquitous characteristics of data regarding the same subjects.
