Story Outline
CRAIG KENNEDY an honest Christian man of integrity, with a big vision for his family, thriving business and for GOD...but little does he know that the devil seems to be in the details. He blesses the man of GOD with one of the latest models of a car, resulting in his family rejecting and disowning him. He proves, however, that if GOD is for you, who can be against you.
Our Message
Is to touch people around the world to commit to the kingdom of God by selflessly investing their time, resources and themselves in advancing the word of God and thus becoming faithful stewards of The Lord by returning the tithe and seperating the offering.
WHAT WE NEED
I have been making secular movies for the past 15 years and I have worked in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zambia, the United Kingdom and Germany. I am a born again Christian and am channelling my talent into producing Christian films to inspire everyone around the world - both Christians and non-Christians.
Our films are designed to inspire and entertain all age groups and provide wholesome entertainment giving individuals strength in order to move forward and face the challenges of each day.
In addition we are focused on providing hands on training in key departments by opening our doors to young and aspiring film students. We are currently working with the Stellenbosch University drama department and the local community.
In order to cover all of the production expenses required to make this film a reality, we need to raise a total of US$350,000.
WHY I AM ASKING FOR YOUR SUPPORT
For the past 15 years I have been working on social message dramas which have been widely distributed around the world. These films have been funded by donors and non government organisations. The world recession has meant that funding for film productions (particularly in Africa) has become extremely difficult.
My belief is that a film is as good as its message. It should be both entertaining and empowering. This only becomes viable through independant funding as one then has the flexibility to impart the message with no strings attached.
I originate from Zimbabwe where making films became virtually impossible and from a political point of view I was forced to relocate to South Africa. Thus far I have financed the development phase of the project with limited means. The script is my own and I have been commended by many film and TV professionals on its content.
HOW READY ARE WE TO MAKE THIS A REALITY
10 % is in an advanced stage and just needs your support to complete. So far our casting has been done, our locations sourced, permits granted and many props including motor vehicles have been donated. Your funds will go to supporting the production and logistics of the final shoot (approximatley 100 minutes).
