Who We Are:

Ferndale Radio consists of a group of friends who share a passion for music and the power of a local radio station. Our goal is to create a community hub in the heart of downtown Ferndale that encourages creativity through music, local issues, the arts and more over the FM airwaves.

What We Need:

Ferndale Radio needs a minimum of $15,000 to launch the station on 100.7 FM within the next 12 months.

We Need YOUR Support:

The money you donate helps Ferndale gain a valuable resource in promoting the community and allowing voices from all backgrounds be heard. Funds generated will cover the expenses of the equipment needed to launch the station, including:

• Building materials for studio
• FM transmitter
• Broadcast antenna, tower and installation
• Computer
• Royalties and insurance

The Impact

If everything goes according to plan, 100.7 FM will be broadcasting live inside the Rust Belt Market in downtown Ferndale by the summer of 2017. Local bands and artists will have an outlet to have their music heard. Select volunteer DJs from the community will have the ability to share their passion with an engaged audience. Issues that affect Ferndale residents will be the main focus, and residents have a platform to address their opinions and concerns that will go unnoticed by the mainstream media.
