Our goal is to raise money to help support this
wonderful artistic expression. This summer, a group of young and gifted film
students will come together in a whirlwind of talent to create two amazing
stories. This challenge is the 48-hour film festival, being conducted in New
Haven on 29-31 July 2016.
We will have 48 hours to write the script, plan the production,
conduct the production and edit the short film.
We have a talented group of filmmakers ready to take on the challenge.
Our team is called the Film HVN Crew and it’s comprised of 12 creative very
creative members.
On 17-18 June 2016, we are planning to conduct a practice film. The
only difference is we will write the script to the practice film in June prior
to 17th. Over the next few weeks we will
develop a solid plan and script, secure locations and actors and then shoot the
films.
Our hopes will be to use the same location and actors for the actual
film festival shoots. The funds raised will help the team greatly. The funds
will be for:
1.
Food and water on set breakfast through dinner.
2.
Miscellaneous items like batteries, memory
cards, tape, blubs…etc
3.
A Black magic Production Camera.
4.

This event is not just about a film festival. This event is about
bringing young artistic and talented filmmakers together and allowing them to
show their talents off to the world all while giving each of us the opportunity
to collaborate with like-minded people. Help us refine our skills, gain
experience and create 2 movies that will be enjoyed by many.
