Short Summary
Sixteen year old Billy Wallace can’t go through one day
without getting bullied. The only way to
stop that is with courage, confidence and a firm sense of self. When an opportunity arises that allows Billy
to manifest these traits, he takes full advantage of it.
“Confidence Boost” is the story of Billy’s journey- a
journey that ultimately becomes one of self-discovery. How clear is the line one would cross in the
transformation from bully victim to perpetuator? I want this film to entertain, but I also want it to provoke and stimulate answers and interpretations to
this very important question.
This piece is very near and dear to my heart. Its conception was born eight years ago and
has gone through many revisions and reincarnations. One of those reincarnations was a nine minute
version that I made as a student film in the fall of 2014. Some of that film’s footage is included in
my pitch video.
I believe this film will inspire bully victims to stand up to themselves and/or help others stand up to themselves. I will do
everything in my power to make it stand out and really have an impact.

Foster is also one of the biggest advocates for the humane treatment of dogs. He has done a lot to assist in the prevention of "cyber bullying", which has been very detrimental to the success of canine rescue efforts.
If you would like to learn more about his work in the community, I have included a link below.

There's nothing extravagant, but I do have some perks to reward your contribution. Since my story is about a high school kid, I used the high school theme in my contribution levels. Once again, any contribution you could make would be greatly appreciated. It would mean the world to me to make this film! Please help me put it on screen. Thank you so much for your time.
