First off, this is a film made BY pro wrestling fans, FOR pro wrestling fans. This full length 80+ minute feature film is our love letter to the sport of pro wrestling. We're looking to change the way pro wrestlers can make an income outside of the squared circle. Our cast and crew is filled with current and former pro wrestlers. We've employed over 20 pro wrestlers on this film already.
At 16 years old, in April 2000 Mikey Gordon started his journey as a pro wrestler and has wrestled over 1,000 matches since starting in 2001. You may have even seem him wrestle Braun Stroman on Monday Night Raw back in October 2016. "I began to get into the business side of wrestling in 2007 when I started FIST Combat live events in the St Louis, MO area. Let me tell you, I learned EVERYTHING the hard way. I got in way over my head just because I loved wrestling and thought anyone could run a show. fast forward 14 plus years and here I am again. In over my head with a project just because I love pro wrestling."
Co-writer/Director Pablo Romero-Estevez also a life-long wrestling fan, has produced content for multiple wrestling promotions across the Gulf Coast and SoCal when approached by Gordon with the idea for the Dirty Ron Character, he helped expand the concept and turn it into a script. So the two hit the set and filmed the movie, or so they thought.
"Now, like in 2007, I started entering into the business side of wrestling I was in over my head riding high on passion and will. Then, when we were on set (great timing, right?) we realized how big this could be. We realized that if we wanted to show wrestling how much we loved it, we need to do it right." The creators a firm believers that Pro-Wrestling is a combination of live action, drama, comedy, improv, stunt show, all done in one take with a Shakespearean audience 360 degrees around them making people feel something, to make them cheer, to make them boo, to make them feel ALIVE! THAT'S why I love pro wrestling, and I want to continue to create for people who love pro wrestling too."says Gordon
"Even though I spent almost my whole life savings to make what we've made so far, it's not enough. The movie isn't finished, yet. Passion and will have gotten us this far, so we are asking for donations to keep the dream alive. "
We are asking you to help us write this love letter to pro wrestling and show the world why it is so special to us. This funding will cover on set costs, production costs, and cast to film the remaining portion of our film. We are looking to fund an additional 7 days on set for a cost of a little over $7,000/day.

We undershot our budget the first time in. Now we've added seasoned professionals to the crew that will ensure we hit our goals on time and budget
The names of the perks packages alone will give any wrestling fan a chuckle. If you liked anyone from Bruno Sammartino to Bob Backlund to Sgt Slaughter to Rick Rude to Roddy Piper to Macho Man.... well, you get it. Just read them. They're hilarious
If we do not reach our entire goal, Indie go-go allows us to receive what funds we did collect. At that time if we do not have enough funds to finish the movie, Dirty Ron said he's gonna do the dirtiest things he can think of on any street corner. What we're saying is, we will get this film done through hellfire and brimstone!
The Impact
We've employed over 20 current and former pro wrestlers on the cast and crew. When we complete this project we will continue to employ pro wrestlers as cast an crew. We have several developed scripts and once we complete this film we plan to continue to produce pro wrestling related content and starring films for a long time to come.
Gordon has produced over 500 live pro wrestling events since 2007 and has dedicated his life to pro wrestling. "I will continue to give back not just to the fans, but to the men and women who have given their bodies for our entertainment and continue to earn them an income beyond the squared circle." he says.
This movie will be screened across the US. It will NOT be streamed on ANY service for at least the first year of release. We're bringing back the wild circus of hitting the loop like the rassler of ole. We're coming to a town near YOU!
When we started this project it was two kids who loved pro wrestling. Since then we've added a stellar crew and an incredible cast that keeps growing with amazing talent. We want to do this the right way, and our pockets weren't deep enough. We're asking the people who love pro wrestling as much as we do to donate to our film, and help us make magic.
