Sunday Love is the Project of the Week for the Toronto Film Scene
Twitch has featured us for Crowdfund This!
We've been selected by the Arts Guild for their Project Spotlight! Check it out here
ScreenDaily featured the IndieCan projects. Read it here.
UPDATE: WE MADE IT! Thank you for taking us to $10,000! We've got a week left so we've raised the bar and added a STRETCH GOAL.
We are aiming to raise $15,000, which will allow us to insure the film and produce deliverables needed to get this film in theatres internationally. It will also allow us to enter more film festivals.
We've had support from Australia to the UK and we want to take this film WORLDWIDE.
In celebration, we will be adding a digital PDF of the shooting script to all levels and entering every funder into a draw for our:
Writer
Survival Perk - One perk that has everything a writer needs to feel the love:
coffee, chocolate, music and a couple of other inspirational muses provided by
Death herself. But don’t worry, the only thing
it will end is this amazing campaign.
Thank you so much everyone!
Welcome
to the Indiegogo campaign for the upcoming Canadian feature film A
Sunday Kind of Love, from writer/director Geordie Sabbagh and producer
Ryan West! We're thrilled to have been selected as the Ontario project for the
inaugural IndieCan 10K Film Challenge,
a Canada wide initiative inviting first-time filmmakers to test their creative
mettle on a shoestring budget.
Several
big name service providers in the industry - from Whites Equipment to
Urban Post Production - have pledged their support to provide post, gear and a
heap of other services once we raise $10,000. So that means that your contributions will
result in over 20 times the funding!

The Film
Following in the vein of such films as Before Sunset, Annie Hall, Lost in Translation and Midnight in Paris, A Sunday Kind of Love is the story of Adam Matthews, 31, a struggling writer on
the verge of giving it all up. His books
have failed, he’s broke and his girlfriend Tracy wants to move on. As he struggles to finish his last attempt
at a novel, he falls for a smart beautiful woman named Emma who also goes by
the name of Death. She offers him everlasting fame and a chance to take his
place among the greats. Now, in one
night, Adam must decide if what he’s dreamed about is worth dying for, and if
the woman he truly loves is in the present or the hereafter.
Want to know more, you'll find the vision, the sound and the look at - www.asundaykindoflove.com

The IndieCan 10K Film Challenge
The
IndieCan 10K Film Challenge is a new initiative from
Avi Federgreen and IndieCan Entertainment designed to foster the growth of first-time Canadian filmmakers. Seven projects were selected across seven provinces for the project's inaugural year, each paired with a seasoned mentor who - along with Federgreen himself - will counsel the filmmakers through every stage of production. It's an amazing opportunity and one we hope you'll support.

What will we do with $10K?$10,000 is a very
modest sum for a feature film but, as mentioned, with the support of our service sponsors and
IndieCan it will result in over 20 times its value. We know we can
create an engaging, funny, warm, beautiful film about love, dreams and
happiness with this money. The funds raised here will go specifically
towards locations needed for the film, paying our talented performers,
and feeding our dedicated crew who are working for the love of a great
film and good food.
Every dollar raised is
exceptionally valuable to our project, and we're deeply grateful for any
contributions!
If you can't contribute we struggling artists understand, but we still want you to be part of this film, please connect with us on Twitter @SundayLoveFilm to keep in the loop. Encouragement is the water to go along with our 10K bread.
Also SHARE this page on Twitter, Facebook or any other new, hip social media platforms we've never heard about!
