In this short film, Dominique Didion, a seasoned writer, unhappy with the state of her career, is having an affair. After being out with a man who isn’t her husband, she has this urge she’s being followed by a stranger in Oliver Peoples Sunglasses. The dread of being seen overwhelms Dominique until she's approached by the stranger. But their seemingly innocent conversation goes awry when this stranger reveals her working relationship with Dominique’s husband. Uncertain of the truth behind this encounter, Mrs. Didion, declares the only thing she can do is kill the stranger before the stranger uncovers her infidelity. This provocative short drama is a character study of a woman unsure of her worth to those around her and her place in this new age.

Director's Note:

My name is Adrian Harris, and I am a New York filmmaker originally from the Bronx. I began sharing stories as a kid and officially began film-making as a student at Rhodes College.

I always wanted to share with society a glimpse of the world in which I was raised by telling unrelenting stories that communicate the good and the bad and the truth about the human condition through film, all while maintaining the element of fun.

Over the years I've assisted many film projects, and for this short film, I've come together with some serious filmmakers and really great people to finally begin my journey as a director. With your support I hope to contribute to the mosaic of NY Cinema.

FUNDRAISING GOALS:

$6,500 - Green Light

At any rate, we will work together to make the best film we can. However if we are able to "Green-light" this project, our hardworking crew and cast will able to be properly paid for their time and effort. We'd also be able to cover food costs, secure proper safe and insured locations, and quality props and equipment.

$8,000 - Ideal Budget

At this budget, we will now be able to take the proper sensitivities toward editing and post-production. We will be able to afford proper mixing and dubbing of ADR and Sound, as well as an extensive attention during the film's editing stage, and the cost for film festival submission will also be covered.
