Film Synopsis:
A university Professor/Professor Carden, played magnificently by James Russo... pretends to be a doctor. The Professor's wife-played stealthily by Donna Mills, is a therapist (Dr. Karen Carden.) Professor Carden attempts to address his own history of being abused as a child in a very twisted way, with his own secret "Experiment", without Dr. Karen Carden's knowledge, or is it? Professor Carden seeks to obtain feedback from six of Dr. Karen Carden's long-time patients, who are still under her care, and whose files Professor Carden has stolen (or has he.) Professor Carden then invites the six abuse Survivors to sit and watch a movie (on the issue of abuse), but he neglects to tell the six Survivors what the movie is about. He is able to do this, under the guise of luring them by paying them to take part in viewing the movie and completing a survey.
As the Survivors of abuse watch, Professor Carden and his two assistants are monitoring each of the Survivors from another room, to see their reaction to the movie... while knowing full well that none of these six individuals have come to terms with their past history of being abused as children.
Professor Carden's lead assistant stumbles across the Survivors' files, and soon realizes that none of the six individuals were made aware of the movie's subject matter. The assistant confronts Professor Carden in the hallway, and a heated confrontation ensues! The assistant then learns that Professor Carden is an extremely disturbed man who is slowly spiraling out of control.
After realizing what the film is about, the six Survivors begin to feel misled, and while talking amongst themselves, they soon learn that not only were they all abused as children, but that they are all being treated by the same therapist. At that point, things begin to go horribly wrong as some of the Survivors begin to place themselves in the scenes that they are seeing in the movie, which in some cases are similar to their own past experiences of abuse. Moments later, the Professor (who has been speaking to the six Survivors through a voice intercom system), becomes more and more mentally unstable, and his web of lies unravels & so does he!
The six Survivors become agitated and begin to lash out verbally, wanting to leave, but they are quickly reminded that they were all paid to watch the movie and give their feedback. When it is clear that they will not be allowed to leave the room, some of the Survivors begin to react physically to the movie that they are watching, as they are flashing back to images of their own abuse.
One of the Survivors goes into complete shock and is unable to stop reliving his abuse. Within minutes, one of the other six Survivors is completely unable to handle the "Experiment" and proceeds to lock herself in the restroom, refusing to come out. While inside she reveals a firearm that she carries in her purse for protection. Flashing back to her abuse and with the gun to her head, she replays her young neighbor and son asking her why she has the gun that they saw her putting away. A gunshot rings out inside the bathroom! Only then, does the Professor truly realize that his little game has gone too far, and his entire "Experiment" turns into an insidious NIGHTMARE!! But there's a Twist that even Professor Carden never saw coming!!

We plan to have multiple Screenings in the U.S., and Panel discussions after each Screening with the Audiences, their Community Leaders, their local Officials, and Schools to shine a light on Child Abuse. The purpose of the panel discussion/s is to create awareness, positive dialogue to foster healing, & to implement positive solutions to extinguish the stigma of opening up and reaching out for help to start the healing process.
A portion of these funds will also be donated to the Charity in "ABUSED"...Peace Valley Holisitc Center, to enable this Charity to continue to be a resource for Children, Youths, & Families.
