About our film, Adeline
Our film centers around Adeline, an elderly woman dying of cancer. Visitors are few and far between in the hospice, yet a bond begins to form when a new caretaker, Maria, arrives. As the two women grow closer, an unexpected letter spurs Adeline to reveal a secret about her past.

About our Production
The diverse crew behind Adeline is a proud and capable group of young filmmakers. Each in our senior year at EICAR, The International Film and Television School of Paris, we will channel the culmination of our education, talents, unique backgrounds and life experiences into this thesis project.
While our school provides us with equipment and crew, it is up to us to find additional funding for our projects to cover the costs of locations, production design, transportation, special equipment rentals, catering, etc.
We have a strong script, a solid plan, and a dedicated team. What we need now is you to jump aboard and help our ship sail on to the silver screen. Your contributions will bring our project to life. Anything and everything in support of our film will be sincerely appreciated. We want you to be a part of the team!
The Breakdown
Let’s talk about what you can help us achieve. Your contributions will fund various parts of our production:
![]()
Production Design This film is set in the 1960’s and in 2018. Half a period drama and half a modern day one, our production design will be as accurate as possible. We want to design believable sets and wardrobe in order to lure our audience into Adeline’s world. This is the biggest part of our budget.
Locations Adeline’s past sets us in a Catholic Boarding School for Girls and her present places us in a modern day hospice. Like production design, our locations should be rich with history facilitate the vision of our film.
Catering An army marches on its stomach… and so do we! A well-fed crew is a happy crew and a happy crew makes an efficient set!
Transport Film equipment is heavy and delicate. Driving valuable equipment through the charming, yet small streets of Paris is an art, and we’ve got just the person for it.
Equipment While our school provides the bulk of our equipment needs, we do rent supplemental items to enhance our methods of filming. Filters, grip equipment and other various accessories will help us achieve cinematic gold.
Post Production There’s a saying that a story is told three times: once during writing, once during filming and once more during editing. Our post production budget supports our technicians beyond the set: special effects, sound design, music compositions, color grading and our invaluable editor. We keep them running through a constant supply of M&M’s and love.
Any and all contribution will be greatly appreciated! When you give to us, we want to give back to you! The perks of giving can be found on the side.
The Team
Our team has been assembled carefully. I have had the pleasure of working with these amazing people for the last three years. I truly believe they have the skills, talent and ingenuity to bring this film to life. Their professionalism and perseverance inspire me everyday.
