CHUWI AeroBook Plus In Mass Production Now!

In 2019, the first laptop product in the CHUWI crowdfunding line – AeroBook – was introduced on Indiegogo and has been chosen by more than 10 thousands users around the world.

At the beginning of the project, we’ve received a lot of suggestions for AeroBook Plus from consumers. Apple's MacBook Pro has been considered as a benchmark for business laptop by many users, but not everyone can afford the price of MacBook Pro. CHUWI strives to refine laptops with more cost-effective prices but provide the same or even better hardware configuration. For one-third of MacBook Pro’s price, users can get even better using experience.
 

Everything we do at CHUWI, every choice we make, is inspired by what we think defines “radical innovation”. We realized that the advancements in 4K displays, size, and robust performance would benefit more than just businessmen, but anyone who is always on the go.

1. 4K Retina screen, more than 1.07 billion colour display

The most popular mobile PC form factor today is the 15.6-inch laptop. It provides a great balance of size and portability for the majority of home and office users.

• Top 4K UHD Retinal display screen

Using 15.6-inch high-spec display with a resolution of 3840x2160 up to 282PPI, AeroBook Plus can guarantee you crystal clear text as well as a vivid image.

The screen with 100% sRGB gamut uses the sRGB standard to define colour schemes, perfectly restoring the true colour.

An authentic, accurate and wider colour gamut can easily meet the visual needs of photography, design and other professional tasks. With a maximum of 340 nits brightness, the screen remains visible even outdoors.

Frost cooling system is built to dissipate heat in the limited space of a thin laptop. With high efficiency vacuum liquid cooling and a high-density copper alloy radiator, the core temperatures can be evenly distributed and dissipated faster, preventing overheating of the chassis and ensuring the delivery of performance is efficient and smooth.

• Full-size keyboard with the same large pitch as traditional keyboards

Optimized key size and spacing and large keycaps allows us to achieve the same 2.4mm key distance standard as traditional keyboards.

In a limited thickness, we try to design the keystroke as deep as possible, providing familiar and precise feedback when you type.

Two levels of backlighting allows the user to easily adjust the keyboard brightness, perfect for working at night or in dark environments.

• Safe fast-charging and longer-lasting battery

The large capacity high density polymer lithium battery provides up to 8 hours battery life. In addition to supporting DC charging, AeroBook Plus supports the current mainstream PD2.0 quick charge technology, the battery can be charged to 60 percent in just 1 hour. 

• Faster, more stable Wi-Fi connection

AeroBook Plus includes dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi for a strong, stable signal and fast data-transmission speeds. As an added advantage, 802.11ac Wi-Fi is less prone to interference from other wireless devices operating on the same frequency band. It also supports Bluetooth 4.2 transmission technology to easily connect various peripheral devices such as external mice or even headphones.

Currently, we have an initial prototype of the AeroBook Plus but building any new product is a huge task and there are risks involved. Our team has experience in delivering both software and hardware. Our aim is to have the product available for shipping to the first backers of our campaign in June 2020. We know this is an ambitious target but one which we truly believe is achievable with our team in place. As such, we will be providing our backers with regular updates on this progress. We know that some backers have ended badly in the past - but never from CHUWI - we’ll always keep in touch with you, and welcome any messages you wish to send.

2. About the product

Product specifications may change to ensure that the product is made as best as possible. If any changes occur, we will notify users in the “UPDATES” area of the crowdfunding page.

3. About the price

If the number of backers exceeds expectations or the exchange rate fluctuates significantly, the regular selling price may be lower than the planned selling price.
