Will Aftermaster work if I plug it in via HDMI from my TV to sound bar?

That's actually one of the best set-ups.

Can Aftermaster Pro be used while plugged into a power source and not solely from battery power?

Yes. Both the HDMI and 3.5mm ports can be powered via the power adapter that comes with your unit.

Since Aftermaster Pro comes with two HDMI inputs, will there be a selector switch or remote control? Or does the output HDMI just throw out everything combined?

The HDMI "out" on the Aftermaster Pro has a dominant port, which is port "A". If there are two sources feeding in at the same time it will play what is flowing through port "A". You will need to turn off one of the devices to control what plays on your TV if you have two devices plugged into Aftermaster Pro.

Does Aftermaster Pro work for tablets as well?

Yes. It has an internal rechargeable battery and both HDMI and 3.5mm connectors can be used with a laptop.

I have 6.1 surround through my amplifier. Will Aftermaster Pro work with this set up, or is it meant to just improve the basic TV speaker/sound bar experience?

Aftermaster works with all discrete channel systems including 6.1.

Can I use my Chromecast stick with Aftermaster Pro, together with a PC, Tablet or Smartphone?

You can plug your Chromecast stick directly into the Aftermaster Pro box and then connect to your TV.

My TV set is directly connected to the antenna socket via a coax cable and has built-in decoder. Will Aftermaster Pro work for me?

Yes. It will work fine but you will need to buy an adaptor for coaxial to HDMI (Amazon.com, etc.), as we do not have a coaxial input.

Why don't you support optical in and out connection?

Our base Aftermaster Pro system is for A/V use, and primarily designed to fix audio problems in TV audio. Optical connections are for audio only and we haven't seen a reason to provide a separate audio in/out optical connection when we can provide our quality through HDMI.

How would I connect Aftermaster Pro if I already have a sound bar system?

It can go between your cable, satellite box etc. and your TV or between your TV and your sound bar via HDMI.

Will Aftermaster Pro make my audio too loud?

Nope! With Aftermaster Pro, you will hear small details that you've never heard before and enjoy the full and exciting effect of an explosion without the annoyance of having it get too loud.

Does the dual HDMI input allow users to choose between input sources? I have a HDMI (multi-input) to HDMI (output) adapter. Could I just replace it with Aftermaster Pro since there's Dual HDMI input already?

The second input is for users who have multiple HDMI sources going to their television. So, yes, you can replace your current HDMI switch with the Aftermaster Pro unit! The unit will automatically display the source that is powered on.

Can you turn Aftermaster Pro on and off?

We have no remote off and on feature. The "ON' switch on our units is a "hard" on button, meaning our system will come back on automatically if power is interrupted.

Will all my sources be able to benefit from Aftermaster Pro's enhancements?

Beyond two sources, you'll likely need to get a high quality HDMI splitter to accommodate multiple input sources. That should solve all the issues and ensure that you get the audio you expect out of Aftermaster Pro for all your programming.

When using a TV app (such as Netflix) that is ran on the TV OS itself, is there a typical configuration to have the TV audio looped in and out of the Aftermaster Pro when using an inbox TV application?

If you have a smart TV and have it hooked up to a sound bar, receiver etc. then you can add Aftermaster Pro into the audio chain.

When using the Aftermaster Pro specifically for gaming reasons is there any video delay that the box would cause from the audio processing?

There is zero latency (delay).  Aftermaster Pro will enhance audio from your gaming console without causing any unwanted effects.  In fact, it will make the gaming experience much more exciting and dynamic due to the enhanced audio.

How long does Aftermaster Pro hold a single charge?

The battery lasts about 8 hours.
