IMAGINE.. A revival sweeping the country, radically impacting drug addicts and bringing the hope of Jesus to the hurting and struggling.
Hi! My name is Allan. 18 years ago I was an incarcerated drug addict. It was then that God set me free and gave me hope and a future. Today, Allan Scott Band shares the love of Jesus with many who are struggling and addicted in drug rehabs, prisons & churches across the country. Two years ago, 225 of you helped us record an album of songs. Over the past few years, those songs have been used at 270 events (including 28 state penitentiaries) to share Jesus with thousands of hurting people. And this year, in the midst of all the uncertainty and chaos sweeping the nation, God has given us the desire to create a national tour specifically for the addicted, hurting and struggling. This will undoubtedly be the biggest undertaking that we have ever attempted. But we believe that now more than ever, people need to experience the hope that Jesus gives.
With that in mind, starting in the Spring of 2021 and continuing for as many years as God allows, ‘The Story Tour’ will be held in churches, community centers, prisons, and rehabs across the country. Each event will be a one-night musical journey featuring the hopeful original music of ASB, live speakers, powerful testimonies & teaching, times of ministry and God stories from across the USA. Stories of freedom from addiction, depression and eating disorders. Stories of amazing healings and restored marriages. All designed to communicate one idea: with Jesus, your story isn’t over! We believe this will be a powerful and unique experience for those who are hurting and addicted. It is our goal that this event will be able to tour for years into the future, as long as there is a need.
And we can’t do it without you! This will be a ticketed event with ticket prices kept intentionally low. Large groups of tickets will be given away to those in drug rehabs and to those who can’t afford them but want to come. We will also bring the event free of charge to Penitentiaries. We estimate the cost to develop and launch the tour will be around $80,000, half of which we hope to raise through this campaign. Would you please consider supporting this project? Will COVID Prevent Spring Events?
We currently have an estimated 17 events scheduled for the spring. In addition, we will be booking 10 events in penitentiaries. If COVID prevents these spring events, they will be moved to the Fall of 2021. We believe that ‘The Story Tour’ is something that God has called us to do. We are 100% committed to this tour one way or the other.
What happens if the project is not fully funded?
We are committed to creating this tour either way! We have been working on this project for most of 2020. If we don't reach our goal, we will reassess what needs to be done to fit into the financial constraints and also figure out how to raise funding additional ways.
