ARiSEN Summary
"ARiSEN" tells the story about a dark soul that has been dormant for years, waiting to be freed. The year is 2013, the night: Halloween. A small Pennsylvania town is plagued by darkness when a batch of unsuspecting teenagers decide to raise the dead by utilizing a Ouija Board, only to unleash "DEATH". One of them mysteriously goes missing, and everyone forgets. A year passes by, and nobody wants to know nor find out what happened to Matthew Walker, except for his sister, Lisa, who believes that her brother is still alive, and that there's a deeper reason behind his disappearence. Can Lisa figure out what happened to her brother? Even if it costs her-her life?

About the Director and Writer(s)
Maarten Olaya, CEO and Founder of Purplelight FiLMS LLC, is an Actor, Screenplay Writer, Director and Producer. In 2001, Olaya made his first film debut in a little known notorious film titled "The Bikini Bandits: Briefs, Shorts & Panties" in Pennsylvania with BAM MARGERA. Maarten has had over seven years of experience in the Film Industry including over 3 IMDB credited roles under his belt as well including some "Production Credits" too. His credits include the Music Video, "ALL AROUND THE WORLD" with American idol's very own Jermaine Jones, who made it to the TOP 12. He also worked on the set of NBC's "Do No Harm" (Pilot Season) which was released on January 31st, 2013. Most recently he was involved in Producing an all new web-series, "Death's Chronicles" set to show case some webisodes of various short films, and 3 seasons already set. He's worked with the likes of various friends and colleagues such as Melissa O'Donnell (Casting Director), David Powell III (Director), Reagan Mohammed (Director) and Antonio Srado (Actor/Director). He is currently working with his good friend and business partner, Zay Rodriguez (Junito's Studios) in a few Independent films, one of them being "ARiSEN".
Zay Rodriguez long aspired to be a Film Writer, Maker and Actor in the summer of 2002. Rodriguez began making a few Home Made videos with close friends, Daniela and Daiana Ruiz, which launched his creative journey into Independent Film Making/Writing. He starred in his very first online feature short film "The Uprising" with fellow friend William Sikora III during the Fall of 2005. Rodriguez holds over a decade of experience in Film Writing, and is currently expanding his experience with affiliations such as; SaintGilbert Photography, Purplelight FiLMS LLC, Project X Productions and Rhythm&Flow Entertainment. He also has been involved in a few of his Productions such as, his first Short Horror Feature film "Lovers Lane", both as an Actor and Writer which was released on August 5th, 2011, and the comedy web-film "Mentally Corrupted" which was later released during the Fall 2011. Currently, Zay is working on getting more Indie films (Shorts/Features) under his belt along with his good friend/business partner, Maarten Olaya, and continue to journey further into the world of Film Making.
