Hey! This Crowdfunding is over, but you can keep track of the project right here!

Our starting point
We’ve been working long enough in the backstage of the art world to know how difficult it can be to start an art collection. Just look at how complex and intimidating the art auctions or galleries can be!
And it’s not easier on the internet: as we have access to anything and everything, how can we be sure of what we are buying? It becomes a full-time job to be aware of new releases and the truly good opportunities on the internet are limited, just as in the traditional art world.
How can we guide young collectors? Can art galleries finally reconcile great masters and young collectors? What would happen if we could own and collect masterpieces with less than 300€?
Inspired by the Multiple Edition concept put forward by the artists of the 60’s and from the Capsule Collection collabs from the fashion industry, our project was born.

Art Capsules is
* 1 collection every year in collaboration with an important art gallery
* Exclusive artworks by established artists
* Each artwork is an edition of 200 and costs 295€. We only put 35 of each artwork on the indiegogo to help us get started, but if we succeed, the 165 left will be on sale in our website!
* Exclusively available on our website so the gallery comes to your house!
* Each capsule contains: a manifesto, a certificate of authenticity, a pair of gloves and of course an original artwork made by a renowned artist!
Why do we need funding?
Art Capsules is about curating every step, from the production of the artwork in museum-quality - Photo Rag® Hahnemühle 380g paper, professional impression, cut by hand - to the packaging and the advice to take good care of your work. We need funding to be able to launch this project independently, to produce the artwork with the best materials, to pay the artists properly... all of this while keeping the prints affordable!
This crowdfunding is not paying for the whole production, but just enough to get us started with the project! This is why making a contribution would also be amazing for us! Click on the pink button to make your contribution! We'll be thankful FOREVER!
But just to give you an idea of why we need money and where it's going, you can take a look at our donut chart:

The First Collection
For our first collection, we are excited to be working with Galerie Denise René, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.

Historically Denise René was a pioneer in the promotion of the multiple edition as an art format, she believed that "Art needs to invent new paths to exist", so it is a great opportunity to launch our project with them and 7 of their awesome artists*:
Tony Bechara (B.1942) Is an artist living and working in New York, who has produced a large and significant body of abstract work based on principles of color usage, organization, and randomness. His paintings tackle phenomenological questions that explore historical problems associated with representation, the visual, and ultimately visibility itself.

Elias Crespin (B.1965) Grand-son of artists and son of mathematicians, his work mixes those two universes: Crespin programs informatic codes that he applies to fine arts to create sculptures in movement.

Carlos Cruz-Diez (B. 1923- 2019) Lived and worked in Paris since 1960. A major protagonist in the field of Kinetic and Optical Art, a movement that encourages “an awareness of the instability of reality”, his body of work established him as one of the key 20th-century thinkers in the realm of color.

Emanuela Fiorelli (B.1970) Her work consists of creating complicated structures with an alternation of fullness and emptiness that creates a spatial illusion, geometric forms made of wires, holding together thanks to a calculated and precise organization, to reach a spatial harmony.

Gun Gordillo (B.1945) Has a personal and poetic approach to art. The agitation or the provocation remains in abeyance or else there may be something provocative about her way of creating new combinations of form, material, and color which are not only unconventional but also seem to imply a moving forward of the borders of the beautiful.

Pe Lang (B.1974) Is a Swiss-born artist know for creating minimal kinetic artworks that control and put physical forces in action with a captivating elegance. His sculptures and installations combine hand made mechanized systems with a stringent constructive optimization in which each element can be deciphered with respect to its functionality.

Matti Kujasalo (B.1946) Is a renowned Finnish artist, famous for his work on constructivism art. He developed his own language and created an expressive, nuanced and surprising visual work. His works have a lyrical tone and character that are rarely associated with constructivist art.
