Thank you to all the generous donors who have contributed to help us reach our fundraiser goal! We are still accepting donations at this time and our new goal is $2000! Ever little bit helps!
To introduce myself, my name is Mitchell McCaugherty-Jansman and I am an up and coming director based out of Toronto, Ontario. I have been a filmmaker for over three years now and my previous short film "Long Time No See" was nominated for best drama at the Toronto Alternative Film Festival.
My team and I are currently in the midst of pre-production for my next short film "Art Credit," which I wrote and will be directing. We are set to shoot in August and we can’t wait to share it with everyone. However, making a movie is expensive. In order to cover costs of locations, production, and numerous unforeseen snags and hiccups, I’ve created a fundraiser to help aid in these costs. As creator, writer, and director of this project, I will be contributing at least 50% of the budget from my own funds, with the goal of this fundraiser being to raise the other 50% from crowd funding. Our target is $1500, although we are flexible in this goal and will benefit from as much support as we can recieve. It would mean the world to me and my crew if you helped to get this project off the ground.
Making this movie will be a great opportunity for a young and talented group of actors, filmmakers, and artists to gain some more experience in the film industry and create a fun project that is close to my heart. If you would like to be a part of this film being made I assure you that you will not be disappointed, as we aim to make this as entertaining as possible for our audience. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and we greatly appreciate all those who contribute to our project. Every little bit helps. Cheers.
