Hello again!

We are the same crazy Russians who brought a banya (a very hot place) to the playa (yet another superhot place) last year to make you sweat in the best way possible. Last year we had 600 happy burners who enjoyed the mysteries of steam (find more here). And a huge, huge line of those, who wanted it but we ran out of capacity.

So we are back to the Playa again to bring it to more, more Black Rock citizens. More burners will experience the magic of steam, will learn the art and science of transformation.

More burners will deep dive into the very centre of their existence, in the process we learned to guide people through. 1500 people, that’s how many burners will be with us this time. I 6:45, that’s where it magic happens.

To make that happen, we need to expand the camp:

• Two 15ft dome-shaped steamrooms, operating day and night; one giant swing, a huge tripod and a massive tea lounge
• 15 steammasters 
• Cold-water station
• Herbs, branches, samovar
• Russian soul, ancesters’ spirits, your sincerety and openness      

We were so unhappy to refuse access due to overbooking, that's why we made the second steamroom happen. The new steamroom will be extraordinary. We call it 'The Onion', it's a 15ft metal structure resembling an onion or a tulip bulb. It has a wooden interior and therefore recreates a traditional banya environment. Both steamrooms will operate together so that 20-25 burners will enjoy the banya session simultaneously. This amounts to over 200 people a day, more than twice as much as last year.  Follow us here to stay updated: https://www.facebook.com/banyahelaerslab/
