Hi There!
We are a collection of filmmakers and artists with UNCSA roots and a shared passion for simple stories about family and growing up.
SYNOPSIS
A boy (HIM) lives in a small town in the mountains of North Carolina with his single mother (HER). He is fast approaching adolescence and his new found independence has driven a wedge between mother and son. Tensions come to a head over the course of one night and he must make a decision to stay or leave home.
CAST
Thomas Miller- HIM
Erin Ownbey- HER
WE KNOW. THERE ARE LOTS OF SHORT FILMS... WHY FUND THIS ONE?
When you turn on the news things feel decidedly not great right now. This film examines adult issues of the moment, including drug abuse, escapism, and apathy in America. However, these issues are viewed through the lens of a particularly precocious twelve year old boy who has not lost his resilience or hope.
We get it. We want to watch something that makes us feel good right now too.
