New York: Pooquie & Little Bit are coming back to town!
After
its critically acclaimed sold out engagements in DC, Philly, and
Atlanta, B-Boy Blues * The Play will (finally!) return for a 7:30 pm Encore performance on Saturday, March 7, 2015 @ the National Black Theatre (2031-33 Fifth Avenue, between E 125th & 126th Streets) in
Harlem. Early Bird general admission seats are $35 each (taxes/fees are included; tickets will not be mailed, they can be picked up at
will call an hour before showtime). A limited number of group packs for parties of 5 and 10 are available (for other special ticket block purchases, send your inquiry to james.earl.hardy@gmail.com). After the show, there will be a talk back with
playwright James Earl Hardy, director Stanley Bennett Clay, and the
entire BBB Company. So do not wait: get your
tickets before we are sold out (again)!
But you don't have to attend the performance to support the production:
B-Boy Blues * The Play merchandise is currently on sale! Photos of the items -- cap, t-shirt, coffee mug, drawstring pouch, and tote bag --
can be seen in the Gallery; prices include taxes and postage. Get any two items for just $40. You
can also give a $20 donation in honor of B-Boy Blues'
20th anniversary or another pledge of your choice (and receive a Thank You in the Playbill). All contributions will help cover BBB Company salaries, theater
rental/insurance, rehearsal studio time, labor costs, and
marketing/publicity.
On behalf of Pooquie, Little Bit, Gene,
B.D., D.C., Angel, Michi, and Mama Rivers: Thanks a million for joining
the B-Boy Blues * The Play Movement!
