Who are we?
We’re a couple of nerds who
LOVE Comic-Con. Last year, our greatest SDCC mission was to meet the dudes from
Welcome to Night Vale and get a Hannibal Funko doll. (Dr. Lecter slipped
through our fingers, alas.) This year, our ambitions are a just a little
bigger…
SDCC wouldn’t be SDCC if it
weren’t for the veritable Narnia of off-site events. But between the actual
tattoos and obstacle courses, we wanted something something for YOU, the
con-goer:
Introducing BAMF: the BIG AWESOME MUSIC FESTIVAL
BAMF is an oasis from the
nonstop chaos that is Comic-Con. It’s a place to rock out, recharge, and ROFL
between panels, parties, and exhibit hall expeditions.
Why do we need your support?
It’s all about that extra
mile. We have the space. We have the stage. We have the vendors. We have the artists. But with your support, we can
make it bigger and BAMFIER.
We want to give you more! More artists, more games, a dance party, live streaming, and big rewards! That’s where you come in. The majority of the $75K will go toward
talent fees. Apart from that, your support will help cover venue costs, staging,
staffing, and equipment.
We started BAMF for you, our
fellow SDCC pilgrims who live geek culture and love geek music. And we want to
give you what you want. So the more support we get from you, more we can try
and bring them to BAMF. This is your festival.
All we ask of you is
