Fantasy manga with 120 pages of hand illustrated BARDIC FURY.

Set in Iron age Ireland, Oi! Tales of Bardic Fury is about a bard named Bryan who gets sent to a village by the sea called Oi that never heard music before. After a rocky start, he meets and befriends the mushroom loving druid Star Seal, his selkie daughter Rhiannon, her older half sister Aideen the sports hero, and Servius the Roman slave. Together in Oi, they dream of becoming the greatest band of bards the world has ever seen.

THE BOOKS

Oi! Volume 1 and 2 are both 200+ page black and white  manga sized books and contain the entire printed series so far, available as perks as part of this campaign. Both volumes are available signed as part of this campaign, but if you want to catch up with the story before Volume 3 comes out and don't want to wait, you can order Volume 1 and Volume 2 online now!

VOLUME 3: BURN YOUR IDOLS is already written and has 40 pages drawn and completed, available to read online as a FREE PREVIEW. The final book will be atleast 120 pages of hand illustrated art, and will complete the story and arc that began in volume 1. Cover is still TBD. I plan to draw the cover as the last part of the project, after all interior pages are complete, and I have that many more months of art improvement under my belt. With your help and support, I will be able to finish the book art by April 2022 and have it ready to ship to you by May 2022.

THE STORY

Bryan the bard and Aideen the hurling captain have been captured and are trapped, endlessly performing in a hypnotic trance potion-fueled Rave in a Cave by The New Way of Banshee Vale, a cultish band of rival bards with a big grudge against Oi. As the party progresses, the scheming druid Rory Seacrow of the Woods of Holly and his prodigy Aengus of Tara watch from the shadows...

Meanwhile, Rhiannon the selkie princess and Servius the recently freed village slave (and former gladiator) must fight off the mysterious faction of masked assassins who have been attacking Oi from the sea. How will our heroes make it out of this horror show after already being pushed beyond their limits? With the moon full, it is a night where stars will be born and idols will burn.
