LIGHTS!

Hello everyone!!

We are students at the Los Angeles Film School trying to raise money to shoot our thesis film. This film we believe will touch the hearts of all whom ever had a dream or passion and had it challenged. As film students we all have had our dreams challenged, but with this chance at shooting such an amazing story, we are making that dream a reality, and we would like you to help be part of it. Once this is filmed, we will submit it into festivals and give screenings in cities to spread this message to keep people, old and young, dreaming and living with passion in their hearts.

Our story is about a socially challenged child, Sam, whom builds a robot out of cardboard boxes. Not only does he build a robot, but he builds a best friend. Sam's courage and friendship is challenged when a couple of bullies decide it's their turn to play with the boxbot.

So the film does involve children, in fact, the only adult in cast is the boxbot. Insurance and children together makes a high price. We also need money for workers comp and equipment. I'm also hiring a steadicam operator to give quality camera work to mix in with the hard working crew already at hand. We'll be shooting HD on a Canon 7d, so the quality of picture as far as clarity goes, will be excellent. I want to give the best film I can and with your help, it will be the best. All contributions, even if the goal is not met, will go toward these necessities. If the goal isn't met, we'll make the best with what we have:)
