Short Summary

Thunderclap Productions is a a 501(c)3 nonprofit theatre company dedicated to presenting the best new and little-known plays and musicals. This April, we will be bringing Aizzah Fatima in from NYC to perform her accalaimed one-woman show DIRTY PAKI LINGERIE for two weekends.  But we can't do this without your support!

What We Need & What You Get

Mounting a full-scale play and bringing in a guest performer from NYC is an expensive endeavor.  We estimate our costs to be around $6,000 and we would like to raise at least $2,000 of it from this campaign.  Here's a breakdown of where these costs go: 

All donations are tax deductible.  We also have a  number of thank you gifts available including tickets to the performances and signed show posters (please note that by federal law, if you accept a gift, we must deduct the value of the gift from the tax deductible portion of your donation).

Risks & Challenges

When you put on new theatre — even highly acclaimed new theatre — it can be hard to get the word out.  Shows like this don't have name recognition yet, so ticket sales are always uncertain.  This is a unique and extraordinary new theatrical work, but cannot make it to Houston without your support.
