Hi! I'm Jo Stanley, the founder and CEO of Broad Radio. In the last year, 86% of Aussies listened to radio. It’s a constant companion in our lives, because it has the power to make us feel great. Of course, you’d think there’s radio for every kind of listener.... But did you know there’s not one radio station for the 5 million women over 40 in Australia?

This is a MONUMENTAL gap in the market. And women deserve more.

That’s why we’re building Broad Radio.

Why Broad Radio? 

Broad Radio is the mouthy, sassy, funny, classy and clever radio station you can’t find anywhere else. We want women to be heard and celebrated. We’re here to amplify equality and lift each other up. Together, we’ll listen, learn and hell raise. We’ll tell stories, share music and have a laugh. And we’ll make a space in radio that is uniquely ours. 

Our Broad Radio app will give you all of that - in your pocket.

What We Need & What You Get

Since January 2021, we’ve been broadcasting a pilot on Facebook, YouTube and Twitch. In only 40 shows – we’ve had over 100,000 views, reached over a million people, and our listeners are loving it.

Now that we've proven the Broad Radio concept, we're ready for the next step. So what's our plan? 

• We're going to deliver Broad Radio via an app. So wherever you go – you’ll have great live conversation - interaction - music - community - events - even a marketplace for online shopping. All the things women love to do together!
• The funding will go straight into building this new app, and this exciting new stage means we can bring you more of what you love! 
• Our perks are pretty fun. We have some cool merch that you can get your hands on. And we have some 'money can't buy' perks like digital events and even advertising packages. 
• If we don't reach our entire goal, we're going to move ahead with building the app anyhow, because we're prepared to back ourselves. It will take us longer, and that's why we want your support. 

The Impact

Right now, Broad Radio has multiple revenue sources – integrated branded shows, sponsors and advertisers. We've got brand partners, and we've got savvy investors. We're ready to take it the next level, and this is where you come in.
