Short Summary
My name is Grant Scullion and I am a student at City of Glasgow College in my 4th year for my honours degree in Television. As part of a team I am working to produce a Gaelic short film that serves as our final project and the culmination of the last 4 years of study.
"Bròn" is a Gaelic drama centered on a fractured relationship between two men haunted by the sins of the past. It's a story of loss, grief and learning to move on.
Risks & Challenges
It's a film so there are many moving parts and areas that are totally dependent on everything coming together. Missing kit, crew or cast can all throw a wrench in the works last minute. Also weather will be something we need to contend with as this is a largely outdoor shoot up north in Scotland in February. That's also the reason we need to give ourselves space to shoot in case anything goes wrong because if we miss key elements, it'll be very difficult to plan reshoots.
