All The Grip You Need
Bumper pedals use Jessup brand grip tape. It's the top brand for grip tape used on skateboards, scooters, industrial applications and more. The grip tape is tested wet and dry, and it loses less than 10% of its grip when wet.

Two Sizes To Fit Any Bike
Most new bikes come with standard 9/16” size pedals. Some older bikes, beach cruisers, or kids’ bikes can use the vintage ½” size. If you’re not sure which size you need, check out this quick video. Don’t worry, if you order the wrong size we will exchange it for free!

Intrinsic Cycles is a new startup founded in Salt Lake City, Utah to develop new products to make life better for cyclists.
In the cycling world, most products are designed for high performance racing or intense mountain bikers. At Intrinsic we make products to for commuters and people who use their bike to get from point A to point B.
Meet The Team
Bill Lee is the founder of Intrinsic Cycles. He has been using bikes as primary mode of transportation for 30+ years, putting thousands of miles on commuting bikes. He has a PhD in physics and track record of developing successful products. He also has shins that have been severely bruised by traditional pedals!
