Summary
Hi. We’re Sarah White and Max Henry, a pair of plucky NYC-based artists who share a passion for developing new and experimental works. We have each spent the last decade establishing ourselves in the independent film and theatre communities, and are now producing our second short film together. It's a taut little thriller called Can You Hear the Sea? and it was written by the massively-talented Matt Minnicino.
Our first short film, Ouroboros, has won several awards on the film festival circuit, and has been recognized by New York Foundation for the Arts, New York Short Film Festival, Hollywood Horrorfest, and more.
As we enter the production phase of Can You Hear the Sea?, it is crucial to us that we compensate our team and secure the best possible location to serve as the backdrop to this story. Our ultimate goal is to present a professional, thrilling, festival-ready film. Your contribution-- of any size-- will help us reach that goal.
Be a part of taking this crucial step in furthering this film's development!
What We Need
Our goal is $2500.
All funds will go toward cast and crew stipends, location rental, props, equipment, and festival submission fees.
We Get It (Seriously)
As self-funded artists ourselves, we understand that while you may want to help, it might not be financially possible. If you cannot contribute monetarily, we encourage you to share this campaign with friends and family.
Even a shout out on social media would be a huge help!
