How do you live-stream or video chat with Cap?
If you want to be seen in VR, you can connect Cap to a computer via a USB cable and choose Cap as the default camera, then begin your live-stream or video chat on the platform PC client. The audience can use an iPhone or Android phone on the platform at the same time and put the phone into a VR headset to watch.
Can I use a Mac to live-stream or video chat with Cap?
No, Cap cannot connect to Mac for live-stream or video chat. But you can use Mac to upload the video or picture to a platform from Cap’s micro SD card.
What’s the video format of Cap?
The video format is MP4.
How big is the on-board storage?
There is no on-board storage, you should put a micro SD card into Cap.
What is the maximum supported Micro SD card storage?
128G.
Where can I download the app for Cap?
The instructions that will be shipped with Cap will tell you how to access the app.
Is Cap compatible with a standard tripod?
Yes, Cap is compatible with a standard tripod. It has a 1/4" standard screw hole for 1/4" universal camera accessories, so Cap can easily be mounted anywhere with any action camera accessories.
Can I set Cap to white balance?
There are five modes you can choose: Auto, Sunny, Cloudy, I Light (filament lamp light), and F Light (fluorescent lamp light).
What is the field of view for Cap’s lenses?
The field of view for the lenses is 100° diagonal.
Is Cap able to accommodate different light source frequencies?
There are two options for light source frequency: 50Hz & 60Hz. You can set it according to different situations to get a better effect.
Is there a Power Saving Mode?
Yes, there is a Power Saving Mode. When you are recording, if you do not touch any button, the LCD will become black after 20s, 30s or 60s, according to the duration you choose.
