CapsuleCam uses STARVIS® sensor, which was developed by Sony in 2015.
Compared with traditional security cameras, Starlight sensor-powered cameras deliver full color images without using artificial lighting (infrared lighting) under low-light environments.
Whether it’s identifying the color of the intruder’s shirt, or figuring out where your pets are hiding, Starlight Vision captures all the details other cameras miss.
With its wide aperture (F1.8), larger size sensor (2.0M pixel image sensor), and 0.01 minimum LUX, CapsuleCam’s Starlight Vision delivers clarity up to 16.4 feet away. Starlight also reduces the camera’s shutter speed to collect enough light for you to see clear human faces in low light.
With local storage, you can simply store all your recordings/images on a microSD card. You don’t have to worry about monthly Cloud subscriptions fees, information privacy, or data hacks.

What version of iPhone, iPad, or Android will I need?

What are my shipping options? Do you have offer overnight or expedited shipping?
We ship all domestic (within the U.S.) orders at no cost to you via USPS Priority Mail which generally takes 5-7 business days from the time the order is processed. We don’t ship internationally.
For domestic orders (within the U.S.), we offer two options for expedited shipping: FedEx Express Saver 3-day delivery for $20 and FedEx Overnight for $30.
When will my order ship?
We ship out orders Monday through Friday. All domestic orders placed through bosmaliving.com before 12PM PST, will ship the same day. All orders placed after 12:00PM PST will be shipped the following business day.

Can I add or remove items from an existing order?
We cannot modify an order once it's been placed. We offer a 30-day no questions asked return policy if you’d like to return any unwanted products once they’ve been delivered.
What is your return policy?
You have 30 days from the date you received your device(s) to request a full refund. You are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping. Once we receive back your product(s), you will be refunded the full amount of the returned devices to the original payment source used.
Do you have to have the app open in order to receive notifications?
As long as you’re not signed out of the app, your smartphone or tablet will receive the notification.
If I am on a smartphone without any Wi-Fi connection, will I still be able to see visitors?
You don't need a Wi-Fi connection as long as you have internet connectivity and your particular carrier doesn't block video streaming (e.g. FaceTime). If your carrier enables video streaming and you have a good 4G connection, you will be see real time HD video from your CAPSULECAM anywhere you have coverage.
How do I set up the camera?
Simply download the Bosma Living App and register your camera, then connect to a Wi-Fi network.
Is there a warranty?
We offer a standard 1-year warranty which we service internally.
Are there additional costs associated with the camera (e.g., cloud storage or live streaming)?
There are no additional costs to view or keep recorded images/videos. CapsuleCam comes with a 16GB micro SD card to help you store all your footage, so you don’t have to worry about monthly subscription fees.
Does CapsuleCam provide a live video feed?
Yes. CapsuleCam allows users to stream live HD video and two-way audio on-demand. With Live View, you can check-in on your property 24/7.
What happens when CapsuleCam detects motion?
When motion is detected, you will instantly receive a push notification on your smartphone, tablet and PC, letting you know that there’s activity on your property. If you answer the alert, the Bosma Living app will open, and you can access live footage of the activity. All motion-triggered events are automatically recorded in local SD card.
Can CapsuleCam capture clear video footage at night?
Yes, CampsuleCam features an array of Starlight and IR LEDs to illuminate the camera's field of view when a lack of light is detected within the device.
