Catitions are artistic privacy screens that are beautiful and functional.
The Catitions idea was born many years ago, based on experiences with our own cats.
We wanted a stylish screen suitable for cats that solves all the problems cat parents encounter, such as messy kitty areas: toys, food areas and exposed litter box areas. Having friends over was always a challenge.
Eventually, we decided to create our own cat privacy screens. In addition, we wanted to create a long-lasting furniture piece that blends well with most decor and is attractive enough on its own. Impromptu visits from friends are now welcome, and we often receive compliments.

We started by creating mini-prototypes and experimented with different types of woods
We spent months prototyping and testing the Catitions. We wanted sustainable materials, and wood has always been a favorite, although a bit more temperamental.
We took extra time in creating the Catitions, paying attention to details, and making them both functional and artistic, and stylish enough for the discerning cat parents.
Our goal is to continue to create beautiful and functional furniture for pets. With your help and contributions, we can get started on this journey.

How we plan to spend this money
The bulk of the money will be spent on materials, labor, packaging and distribution.
We are a brand new start-up. and we are currently able to manufacture smaller quantities ourselves locally. We rent space and equipment in local shops. This money will give us the initial funding to jump-start our business.
What if we don't meet our goal?
We have created this product from from concept to completion, working several months on prototyping and testing. The prototype is finished, and the product is ready for manufacturing. We rent equipment locally and create this product ourselves, minimizing the risks of manufacturing, such as using a 3rd party manufacturer outside the US, which could complicate matters. We have the ability to deliver smaller quantities with little risk.
What we will do if we exceed our goal
If we exceed our goal, we will rent extra tools and equipment and hire extra helping hands, as needed, to make sure we deliver on time. We would like to eventually purchase our own heavy equipment.
We are prepared to deliver regardless of the outcome.

If something unexpected will occur, we have given enough buffer time to account for such uncertainties. However, if anything happens that we have no control over, we will do everything possible to make sure that we correct the situation and we will keep you informed at all times.
