We have a goal of further improving Certum Phone with the support of the community. We strive to find professionals, enthusiasts and collaborators in various fields to make the phone even better. Those involved in the development work of Certum will receive regular updates of progress, background information and justification for the selected components, as well as an opportunity to impact on the emphasis and fine-tuning of various features. Some developers will also be able to participate in the final testing of the phone's features.

Such basic tasks as giving a simple phone call from my apartment was difficult because there simply was no signal. I also bought 4G SIM from my then-operator – mainly because the coverage maps they provided to me at the shop showed both good out and indoor coverage in my home address. Why Indiegogo?
The development of the new features and applications featured in the Certum Phone demands self-reliant and independent operating environment. That is why we are covering part of our operations with this unaffiliated Indiegogo crowdfunding.

What comes in the box?
The package will include the Certum Phone, a charger, USB-C to 3,5 mm headphone adapter and instructions. Add your SIM card and you got everything you’ll need to get started.

Are the shipping fees included?​
Shipping is included. However, please note that we are not responsible for customs, taxes, import duties, brokerage or any additional charges by your local government.

When will I receive my order? ​
The first units are expected to be delivered in June 2019. Please check your pledge’s expected delivery dates. 

Why have you set such a high funding goal?​
For us it is important to be able to develop and produce Certum Phone independently, without the pressure from any mobile network operator. That is also why we have chosen Indiegogo as a source of funding. We are all in to reach a goal that we believe secures the production, manufacturing and global shipping pricewise. The target has been chosen after careful calculations.

How confident are you with your shipping target?​
The people who have contributed to the development of Certum Phone have on average 15 years of experience in the mobile phone industry – many have been out there for far longer. We have produced dozens of different phones combined. We have thought it all through. So yeah, we are pretty confident.

What if you fail to reach the funding target?​
All contributions will be fully refunded, so you shouldn’t worry.

To which countries do you deliver to?​
European Union, United States of America, Canada, Albania, Andorra, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Georgia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, Vatican City. The Certum Phone will work in other networks and countries, but will not be certified for those areas in this first stage.

Why the Certum Phone is not delivering to my region?​
This first version of the Certum Phone will be certified for CE and FCC so we are delivering only to the countries where those certifications are valid. Later we will be able to deliver the phones also to your specific region in collaboration with our partners.

Will my existing SIM card work on the Certum Phone?​
Yes. We support most common 3G and 4G international frequency bands and carriers.

Will the phone receive updates after launch?
Yes, Certum gets regular Android security and performance updates. Certum related app featured on the phone will also be updated regularly.

Does Certum Phone have a warranty?
A standard manufacturer warranty will apply.
