They remain the only source of gadgets compatible with their system. This limits the range of available devices and prohibits their makers from lowering their prices.

Our philosophy is different. Our vision is to create a platform that can be used universally. CEWi is a platform that can be used by anyone who wants to develop a smart device. This way, anything can become online in an easy and low-cost way. Anything can become part of a huge ecosystem. In the long run, we'd like as many manufacturers to use CEWi as a platform as possible.

You can go even further. If your're a developer yourself, it's easy to make your own devices compatible with our system. Just integrate our module, the CEWi Micro, into your product. You can use CEWi as an adaptable platform that can be customized to your needs.

The CEWi Micro has several GPIO pins and it uses a simple UART interface to communicate with your circuit. You can develop your own device page in the CEWi app, and it's possible to use GUI elements that fit perfectly with the device's native look and feel.

With CEWi Micro, you will be able to get feedback about how your product is used or which part you have to develop further to make your users happier.

By helping us reach our first goal, you'll make it possible for us to put the Box, the Plug+ and the Micro module into production and further optimalization of the app and backend software to make our unique system as streamlined and powerful as possible by the time you first try it.

CEWi is not just about controlling your devices, it's about making everything smart. With Sensor, your possibilities are endless. However, it's still in a very early stage of development. If we successfully raise $200,000, we'll have enough resources to develop it along with the rest of the system. There is no perk for the Sensor yet, but we'll create a new perk just for the sensor when we cross this goal. It'll costs appr. $20/pieces. This is to ensure that we'll be able to ship the Sensor as soon as possible.
