Instead of sorting through a bag of dice and miniatures for the hero you need, keep them organized in Character Crates. You've either purchased nice miniatures or you've spent hours painting them yourself. They need to be protected in their own Crate. Your Necromancer goes with those special bone dice, and your Bard needs to roll with the bright green dice with sparkles that you got at that one convention. The Character Crate keeps all of your heroes with their respective dice. You can simply grab the right Crate and head to game night. The Crate is crafted from the best American Cherry and can be passed from generation to generation of gamers.

The Character Crate has 3 primary functions

1. Miniature Figurine Container: The Character Crate will come in 2 designs; one with a single miniature pocket and one with two miniature pockets (you will decide after the campaign. Perhaps you want to store two characters in a Crate or maybe you have a trusty companion or familiar who deserves their own space. These pockets will have foam padding to protect your heroes. These pockets are designed with plenty of room for standard 28mm miniatures.
2. Dice Container: The larger pocket will comfortably accommodate 2 - 3 sets of polyhedral dice plus some extras. Many oversized dice will also fit, just in case you are bringing a special set of chunky D6s or other dice to the game.
3. Dice Rolling Tray: The lid of the Character Crate is completely removable from the Crate itself and is designed to be used as a dice rolling tray. With half inch walls it should contain even the most exuberant dice rolling enthusiast. The lid/tray can be placed back on the Crate in any rotation and is held on by the lip as well as 8 rare earth magnets.

Construction

The Character Crate is crafted from American Black Cherry wood. This is one of the most prized hardwood's in America for furniture and cabinetry. As an added bonus Cherry is one of few sustainable hardwoods. Cherry ages beautifully over time. It begins light brownish-pink and over time these colors become slightly darker and richer. The Character Crate will come treated with a special finish which will enhance the natural beauty of the wood without the use of harsh chemicals. We designed each component of the Character Crate to be created out of one solid piece of wood so there will be no chance of glue failure due to changes in humidity and environment.
