Chateau Obsidian #3! 

I am proud to announce the third campaign in the epic science fiction comic series Chateau Obsidian.  Since January 2019, I have crowdfunded over £2,300 ($3,155 USD), successfully creating and fulfilling issues 1 and 2. Now that I’m 2 issues in and all backers have received copies of issues 1 & 2, work on issue 3 is now in full swing. With fans eager for the continuation, it’s that time of year again that Chateau Obsidian is fully open for business to backers old and new!

The Story:

The following is a selection of finished pages from Chateau Obsidian #2 (mild spoilers ahead).

In the far future, aboard the Cruise Starship Mayflower, ship holographer Jack’s search for missing data takes an unexpected turn when he finds himself under arrest - as his girlfriend Sarah looks on from her job in ship security.

In the ship’s vineyard, a strange experiment is going on, and tourist Barry notices something odd about the grapes:

In some of the last pages from Chateau Obsidian #2, where on the same ship, centuries later, Captain Featherstone and first mate Bot:re19 come across numerous obstacles and hit upon a major discovery in their search for the mythical Green Man, who is their last hope in stopping the ship’s collision course with Earth.

Funding:

My target is £1,500 (approximately $2,052 USD) - more than enough to print and ship and to allow myself the time and space to write, pencil, ink, colour and letter Chateau Obsidian #3 and (circumstances permitting) attend a couple of local conventions later in the year. This time I am also keen to involve other cover artists if funding allows.

If there are any gaps in your collection, back issue add-ons are available on all perks for £4 ($5.49 USD) each. A digital bundle including the first two issues is included with each perk so there’s no reason to miss out on the story so far.

As with all issues so far, you can have your likeness included into the story in issue #3 either as a one-off appearance, for which there is no limit, or you could be introduced as a recurring character to also appear in later issues - including assisting main characters Jack and Sarah in the finale as they fall foul of the conspiracy aboard the starship Mayflower! Be quick as this is strictly limited to one only!
