Hi! I'm Lindsey Jakubowski, General Manager and Co-Owner of Kriemhild Dairy Farms. I have the absolute pleasure of working with Bruce & Nancy Rivington, owners of EFS LLC grass based dairy farm and Founders of Kriemhild Dairy Farms. Together we're working toward building a sustainable local food economy. We're focused on paying grass based dairy farmers a premium for their quality milk and turning that delicious milk into simple, wholesome and healthy grass based cultured dairy products. 

We've been using a co-packer thus far to make our European-style pastured Meadow Butter, and now we're ready to expand into our own creamery and start churning out more and just as amazing grass fed, fat based cultured dairy products. We're focusing on what we know, full fat cream! Our new line of products will include cultured butter, authentic buttermilk (the kind from REAL butter makers), sour cream, and the most decadent creme fraiche! 

Your contribution will not only help us build a creamery. Your contribution is supporting a greater vision in which our farmers get paid a reliable, fair price for their quality milk, environmental stewardship and animal husbandry. Our employees are able to make a living, truly enjoy the work they do knowing it is intrinsically good. Lastly your contribution will allow us to provide healthy, nutritious and wholesome food.  It's the multiplier effect, one good act resulting in many others!

What We Need & What You Get

We started with a brand and building, but now we need to upgrade and outfit the building with dairy processing equipment. We are obtaining funding from diversified sources, private banks, regional low interest loan funds, small grants and our own equity. It's no small feat and the total project cost is $600,000. 

We're asking for $50,000 from you which will help us start the infrastructure improvements: pouring the concrete floor, vestibule build-out, HVAC, and electrical upgrades. That's 1,000 people donating $50 each. 

We've put together some darn good rewards for your donation; a custom made butter keeper, our favorite cookbooks, and of course first dibs on our new products!
