Due to its super compact size, Larkbox is fantastic for a desk where space is scarce. What’s more, it can be taken anywhere in your bag, enabling you to work anywhere without the need to switch devices.

To make this even easier, we made Larkbox super lightweight so you won’t even notice you’re carrying it. Unlike a traditional PC that can weigh upwards of 5KG, Larkbox is designed as the ultimate ease of use PC. Ultra-small form factor and lightweight design ensure that Larkbox is never a burden to your daily life.

•  Small, yet with decent power

Despite its size, Larkbox packs a mighty punch. This opens up endless use cases for Larkbox. Due to the form factor, Larkbox is fantastic for POS and digital signage, kiosks, and CCTV systems. The options for Larkbox are endless, small, and powerful enabling it to complete all manner of tasks, anywhere, with ease.

•   It's only about the size of a baseball and weighs 127g.

Larkbox utilizes an extremely small form factor, measuring in at a mere 61 x 61 x 43mm, and weighing only 127g. Traditional PCs can be very large and cumbersome, often meaning that transportation is near impossible. Larkbox aims to break that tradition, offering a super-compact form factor, without sacrificing on performance.

Our engineers worked tirelessly to shave off every possible millimeter, ensuring that Larkbox is as small as possible. With an overall size comparable to a baseball, the Larkbox can be taken anywhere with ease. With these parameters in mind, the options for Larkbox are limitless.

•  High-Efficiency Celeron Processor

Don’t let the size fool you, Larkbox is a capable desktop replacement. Powered by Intel’s quad-core processor, it can handle all manner of home/office tasks effortlessly.

Larkbox is perfect for use as an office PC as emails, documents, and web browsing are performed with ease. Larkbox also works great as a 4K TV box, thanks to the Intel UHD graphics.

It also supports 4K output, allowing you to stream and play a huge selection of content, directly to your TV. The possibilities don't stop there, Larkbox is a fantastic option for POS, digital signage, kiosks, and surveillance.

• 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB eMMC storage

With a massive 6GB of LPDDR4 Ram, the Larkbox can run multiple large programs simultaneously.

RAM dependent programs such as Photoshop run great on Larkbox, and thanks to DDR4, switching between programs can be done fast and efficiently.

Unlike other small form-factor PCs Larkbox is extremely versatile. The 128GB internal eMMC storage can be expanded via the M.2 2242 SSD slot, and even further with the inclusion of a micro SD slot, perfect for transferring photos and videos from cameras and other devices.

• Convenient Wire or wireless connections

Larkbox has a huge variety of connection options, utilizing ultra-fast 802.11a/ac/b/g/n WiFi, reaches up to 867Mbps, and the latest Bluetooth 5.1. So you can connect dozens of devices with ease.

Stream audio to your Bluetooth headphones with minimal latency and move freely around the office without the constraint of wires. Connect to any router and enjoy fast reliable WiFi using the internal Intel-based wireless solution.

Despite its size, Larkbox presents a large I/O, allowing you to connect a huge selection of devices without the need for expensive adapters and trailing cables. Two full-sized USB-A 3.0 ports are essential for USB pen drives or charging your phone. Connect any modern monitor or TV with the HDMI 2.0 port with support up to 4K 60fps.

A micro SD slot can be found on the side of Larkbox, perfect for versatile storage or transferring media to and from a variety of devices. A USB-C port on the rear is used to power the Larkbox, gone are the days of awkward proprietary connections.

 Lastly, Larkbox also includes a 3.5mm combo analog jack for wired headphones and mics.

LarkBox has an energy-efficient design that reduces environmental impact while helping to lower operating costs for your business. It consumes as little as 5W at idle and 12W at full load. It is also whisper-quiet, generating just 19dB of noise. 

A dedicated cooling solution was implemented to ensure optimal heat dissipation from Larkbox. Keeping your PC cool is essential to ensuring peak performance at all times, Larkbox uses an active heat dissipation fan to achieve this, ensuring your PC is always ready to perform at its best.

Currently, we have an initial prototype of LarkBox but building any new product is a huge task and there are risks involved. Our team has experience in delivering both software and hardware. Our aim is to have the product available for shipping to the first backers of our campaign in August 2020. We know this is an ambitious target but one which we truly believe is achievable with our team in place. As such, we will be providing our backers with regular updates on this progress. We know that some backers have ended badly in the past - but never from CHUWI - we’ll always keep in touch with you, and welcome any messages you wish to send.

2. About the product

Product specifications may change to ensure that the product is made as best as possible. If any changes occur, we will notify users in the “UPDATES” area of the crowdfunding page.

3. About the price

If the number of backers exceeds expectations or the exchange rate fluctuates significantly, the regular selling price may be lower than the planned selling price.
