A self-obsessed corporate executive, plagued by past sexual humiliation walks a blood-stained path of sacrilege to ultimately face his demons in the flesh...
Having been a filmmaker since 2003, CIVET will be my third Sci-Fi film. It is the grittier sequel to It Grows Dark, which won accolades for Best Animation at the MidWest WeirdFest 2017 film festival and was an Official Selection at the Other Worlds Austin Sci-Fi film festival, 2016.

Watch It Grows Dark...
My films include life-size stop motion animation married to live action in a retro futurist world. As a child of the late 70s and early 80s, my imagination was first captured by the sleek, white curves of monochrome monitors, endless infinity mirrors and arcades swathed in the colors of back-lit Plexiglas. I received my BA in Theatre in 1998 and now write, direct and perform in my own films as well as creating the stop motion animation puppetry and have been experiencing success in the film festival circuit.

At Midwest WeirdFest, 2017
All funds raised from this campaign will be used for paying a crew and the rental of equipment. I have started building set pieces, props and constructing the stop-motion puppets from my own resources. Most shooting locations I have inquired about so far are free to use.

On the set of It Grows Dark
If the entire goal of $10,000 is not reached, we will restructure our budget and move forward. With the positive reception that It Grows Dark has received, Best Animation award, festival screenings and an in-depth interview on my filmmaking on The Wrong Reel podcast, this innovate approach to Sci-Fi film-making is rapidly garnering a new and enthusiastic audience.
