Fishing for Everyone! Our product is a compact, modular fishing rod (Pat.Pend). Imagine being able to travel anywhere in the world with it, and you don't have to worry about damaging or breaking it. 

You can swap parts according to what method are you using and what fish are you trying to catch. The minimum size of the smallest version for transportation has only 25cm (10in), you can put it even in your pocket. 

Thanks to the removable trigger, you can equip it with all the existing reel types. It weights only 220-240g - depending on the type of spring pole and the handle.

Stainless steel spring poles, CNC machined – sea water-resistant 6061 T6 – aluminum reel seat, hardwood handles. No plastics. The result is a truly unbreakable fishing rod, which is made for several decades.

 

 

 

Using it, roughly is the same as using the conventional rods, except that the body's functioning is ensured by a spring made of stainless steel. We can use interchangeable springs with different mechanical properties depending on the casting weights and the method we use. The spring pole arcs at the same time serve as a line leading ring.

 

 

By using the spring-poles the rod length is radically reduced, this allows you to also go fishing in places where it's not possible to use a longer rod. For example on a bank with dense vegetation, or on a sailing boat where there is no room for our long rod.

Compact: A compact fishing rod - in its field - has the same tasks as a multi-tool, or as a Swiss army knife: to be multifunctional, small and durable. It is certain that most of the tools available in the world are much better suited for the job, than the fold-out tools from the multi-tool. We can choose nowadays between millions of special fishing rods. Most of them are better suited to the fishing style, for what they have been designed for, than their compact companion. Therefore, never expect from a compact device to be the best in any category. However, there are circumstances and locations where it is doing better than a conventional device.

 

Modular: All components of the system can be fit together with the other components. With this feature, this is the world's single modular fishing rod. The completed package can be extended with additional spring-poles and grips.

 

Its central element it's an aluminum made reel seat - with CNC machining, from which the trigger can be pulled down, making it suitable to receive lower positioned reels besides upper positioned ones.

 

 

The 6 kinds of different flexible spring pole, corresponds to 6 different fishing rod. The mechanical properties are shaped by 3 factors: the diameter of the material they're made of, number of spring-arc bends and the length. All of them can be inserted into the grip into two slots, this way we can use upper and lower positions reel too.

We designed it in a way that we can enclose the spring-arcs with a rubber ring, minimizing the chances of folding of the line. Using the rubber ring is not a prerequisite for an effective operation, but it's recommended in some cases - depending on the fishing method, the line, the reel, and the casting weight.

 

 

In the lower position: The best operation can be reached with "underspin / triggerspin" reels. Fixed spool (spinning) reels: The smaller the diameter of the spool, the more uniform the winding of the line will be.

In the upper position: You can use the poles without compromises, whether it's a spin cast or a bait cast reel we're speaking of. When we're casting it or winding it up, the line will spin around steadily with bigger reels too, but here it's advisable to use a smaller one.

Casting distance: The short size of the device allows you to cast not only from above but also from the side or bottom. Moving our wrist, we can increase significantly the impetus of the throw. The spring - like a catapult - launches the bait. The casting distance - depending on casting weight - is competing the 2m long traditional rods.

This package would be primarily configured for top position, and for both open and closed face reels, e.g.: "Bait cast" and "level wind" reels and "spin cast” reels. The trigger can be removed from the axis. Without it, we can fish with a lower-positioned reels and a low spring.

When assembled, its length is 60cm/24in. In this package, the MEDIUM PowerPole consisting of 8 arcs is the most sensitive yet powerful spring. Strong, yet sensitive, it's suitable for a versatile use.

This package would be primarily configured for low position, and for both open and closed face reels. When assembled, its length is 60cm/24in. The wooden handle is mounted with a long threaded rod, which - secured with lock nut - can be accordingly sized depending on what balance the rod needs. Comes with MEDIUM PowerPole consisting of 8 arcs.

This package - as its name says - have been compiled with the need to minimize its assembled (48cm/19in) and transportation (25cm/10in) size. Because of its short wooden handle, it's especially suitable for lowercase reels (fixed spool and underspin types), but it can be equipped with uppercase bait casts, raft or ice reels. The package comes with a short spring pole. The short wooden handle is mounted with a long threaded rod, which - secured with lock nut - can be accordingly sized depending on what balance the rod needs. Fully extended, in length it reaches the Spinning grip's length, making it well suited for long spring-poles.

Full production of the project is done in the EU. The warranty offered for Packs is 1 year. It is expected that the customer will send back the pack/part to us at their own expense, we will review it and if it is not abnormal usage then it will be replaced and it will be delivered free of charge. The warranty is not applicable to cases other than defects in material, design and workmanship.

How is this fishing rod different from other compact fishing rods?

Many have asked what the difference is between the commercially available compact fishing rods and the system I have designed. The most significant difference is the REMOVABLE TRIGGER. None of the previously known compact rods had this solution, therefore they can only be used for either casting or spinning methods/reels completely. This is no longer a problem. We do not need to buy further rods again and again. The same spring can be used in both the upper and lower positions. All components of the system can be fit together with the other components. This is what makes this compact rod modular.

What are the optimal casting/lure weights?

The usage of spring fishing rods is very similar to that of traditional rods on the face of it but the mechanical features of steel springs is are of very different nature that those of the classic fishing rod. Therefore it’s difficult to compare it to the normal fishing standard or insert it into this structure. Lure weight of the springs based on our experience:
