ABOUT ME
Hello everyone!
My name is Daniel Petersen. I'm 23 years old guy from Denmark.
I have this big passion for gaming, and now it has evolved into making games!
I’m building my own game called Confict & Teamwork which I have already used a lot of time and energy on making this a dream come true!
Hoping for this to be a project that other gamers would like and support. Daily I’m educated to work with IT and I'm at this moment working as an IT-supporter. But I really want to have my own gaming business.
ABOUT THE GAME
This game is going to be a multiplayer game.
One game, 100 players. They will be divided into two big teams of 50, These 50 players will be split into squads. You decide if the squad is 5, 4, 3, 2 or solo players.
Later on it will be possible to split the teams in 5,10,25 players instead of 50, so more teams with less players.
Your squad is allowed to team-up with other squads on the team. But mostly you play with your assigned squad. So, you don’t have to focus on what everyone else is doing on your team of 50. But it will be a good idea to help the rest of the team, if you are able to.
The team needs people who gather resources, secure the capture points, makes weapons, scouts and sneak up on the other team. each class have different tasks, that will give the team and yourself more points.
There’s going to be different tasks:
Main task
Finding the opponents flag.
Getting the flag to your own base.
Semi main task
Capture points.
(There's 3 capture points on the entire map)
Secondary task
Depends on witch class you are, and what you and your squad choose your main focus to be: capturing the flag, defending/attacking capture points, supporter, and so on.
You can win by stealing the other teams’ flag and getting it back to your own base. This gives your team instant win.
You will have about two minutes from you steal the flag before the opponent team gets a warning about the flag is missing. From now on you need to run and hide a lot.
The flag will make you run slower than normal. If you are a FLAGRUNNER you will run faster than other players, but still slow with the flag. So, you need help from your team. This is where you guys need to teamwork a lot.
You will get extra points if you stick to your own tasks.
If you get some kind of task, you need to complete it for extra points. This will make sure people don’t do less or more than others. And makes sure people don’t just walk around in circles.
GAMEPLAY
Teamwork
In this game teamwork is important. You have to work together for this game to work out.
You need to find a way to communicate and split the assignments (building, crafting etc) between players on the squad.
There will be squads of 5-2 people. And with every squad-size, you will play differently.
Solo players
If you choose to be a solo player in the game. You are most likely to be a scout. This is the perfect assignment for solo players.
You main focus will be to assist squads all around the map, where it's needed.
Capture points
There will be 3 capture points on the map.
These are really important for the entire game. With capture points you will get more points to buy weapons, tools, medic and more. You will also have less respawn time and will be able to respawn at the new capture point.
Killing the other team
You will have a easy time killing. Because you need to have the opportunity to kill a whole squad by yourself if they don’t pay attention to their surroundings, and dont teamwork. – so, look out! ;-)
Permadeath
After a certain amount of time, if the flag has not been captured from any of the bases, there will be PERMADEATH! This means you will win if you are the last man standing!
or have two out of three of the capture points in X number of minutes, this will make people not just wait and camp. If you get killed during the permadeath you can just leave the game, and still get your reward.
Spawning
There is going to be X minutes from you die till you respawn again.
When you have one or more capture points you respawn faster.
You can also buy less spawn time with the points you get from doing your assignments, tasks and from capture points.
There will be less spawn time at the base, than smaller places as your capture points and spawn points which a specific class can make.
LOOT
One should look for loot, such as ammo, weapons (will be rare to find), medic, and things to build, cover, etc.
Some special classes can craft/build many suitable things out of the materials your squad finds or buys, and all classes have different things they can craft/build.
It's important to loot because when you die and respawn it is expensive to buy all your gear again, and sometimes it is better to save your points, for situations where there is no time to loot
Weapons
You can make a lot of different weapons out of parts that you find around on the map. You can find barrels, stocks, hull etc. And combine them in different ways. - Of course some parts, doesn't fit together, and some fit very well the better they match, the better the gun will be.(recoil, range, penetration etc.)
Some guns can't be changed, only its attachments (scopes,suppressors,mags)
Building/crafting/resources.
It will be hard to get good weapons and ammo. So dont waste it, but with that said most things can be turned in to a weapon or used as one. Sticks can be sharpened, rocks can be thrown and traps can be made.
You can craft/build many things, like bows, spears, guns, traps, buildings, covers, ammo, armor, decoys, scopes, explosive, etc. When you start (if no points are used) you will spawn with some stuff to help you craft and get going. this will be like a knife, or others stuff. This depends on your class.
Assignments
In the start of the game you and your squad chooses a class and a main focus on the map, that can either be: going for the enemy flag, capture points, scouts, supporters, saboteurs, or more. then you will get assignments depending on what class you are and what focus you and your squad chose. example if you are a craftsman, and the focus is capture points you will get assignment to craft weapons and ammo for your team, while you and your squad will get a assignment together to capture, defend or hold a capture point.
Every class and squad will get different assignments to mainly follow, and i would recommend following the assaignments, unless you and your squad really thinks this is a good plan or have a game changing plan.
Following the assignments, will give you an advantage, in the way of points, that you can use on weapons or other kinds of gears.
This will make people not run around doing nothing.
Classes
In the game there will be different kinds of classes. You are going to pick what you want to be in the start of the game. You are not going to be able to change your class when the game start. There can only be one of each class in one squad.
What classes are going to be in the game?
Here are some examples of the classes and what they can do
FLAG RUNNER
Will run faster when the player is running with the flag.
Can be able to cheat with his destination, so he will not be easy to find.
BUILDER
Will be finding resources for the team and makes respawn points (more will be added)
MEDIC
Are going to revive players on the team.
Revives players quicker than “regular” players who are not a medic.
CRAFTSMAN
Makes weapons out of resources.
HUNTER
Being able to track other players.
MARKSMAN
Good with sniper.
STEALTH
Has a Ghillie suit.
Can't be tracked.
TRAPPER
Makes traps.
And more will be added.
COMMUNICATION
In the game there will be proximity type chat and proximity VoIP.
Only people inside a radius of the capture points or the base are able to see the proimity chat.You cannot type with the whole team on the map. ONLY with the people inside a certain radius.
You can't type to the enemy team. the proximity VoIP works so only players close by can hear you, that also means the enemy can hear you if they also are inside this radius.
MATCH LENGTH
A game can be more than two hours long, so be sure you have good time before starting a game.
But it can also be very short, if a team are managed to get the enemy flag.
RAGDOLL
If you are getting shot in the leg or are to close to an explosion there is a chance that you will trip over, and this will make you vulnerable for some time.
POINT SYSTEM
There is a in-game point system. These points are some you will get while playing and are reset every game.

There is also a point system in the menu.
You will get a amount of points after every game.
You will get more depending on whether you win, how good you played and how high league you are in.

You can also buy skin creates, but nothing else. Nobody likes "paid to win"!! :D
LOOT CREATES
If you win a game, you are going to get a random skin create or a random create (not trade able items) and points.
If you lose a game, you will only get some points.

There is going to be a lot of different rarities. They will be split into colors, so you can see how rare it is.
LEAGUES AND RANKS
You will get better chances for good skins when you are going into higher ranks.
You will be rated for how many points you scored through the game and if you followed your Tasks. You will most likely end up in a game with other players with the same rank or league as yourself. With a higher rank or league you will get better skin creates and more points for creates.
MATCHMAKING
Players who only wanna troll will be marked with the "troll mark" and will only be able to join other players with the "troll mark" for some time. So they won't be trolling around people that wanna play serious.
WHAT YOUR MONEY WILL BE SPEND ON
GOALS FOR THIS PROJECT
$35.000-100.000 USD: is my main goal for the project. If it reaches this goal I will 100% get the game out as wanted. But I will still release it if it does not reach the goal.
$200.000 USD: I will make a big update and make some new maps, game modes. Maybe something like 10vs10, survival, and smaller maps.
$300.000 USD: Advanced building system, and much more!
$400.000 USD: Season updates, big content updates, graphic reworks and more, every season
$500.000 USD: Single player mode, it will have focus on open world, story and new gameplay every mission. I am already designing something in my mind.
