Creaks
'Creaks' is a short film due for release in 2015. A supernatural thriller in the vein of Poltergeist, this film owes more of a debt to 1980's Spielberg than the modern horrors of today.
The Concept
Linda has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimers, she is forced to move in with her young daughter Jessica. The pair's estranged relationship is put to the test, when mysterious disturbances begin to occur in the house they're sharing. Little do they realise as they attempt to uncover the cause of this, that they could find fatal consequences await them both.
The Campaign
We have already assembled our cast and crew who have all agreed to provide their time and their talents for free. The film's shoot will take place across two days, we have a location, props, equipment, all already paid and ready. The funds would be to fund the following areas of the production:
1. Insurance costs for the two days shooting
2. To have a professional sound mix completed on the film
3. To complete a professional sound grade
4. To complete a professional edit on the film
5. Ad hoc costs for the shooting period (emergency expenses, travel costs)
Once the film is completed, it will be entered into several major film festivals, including horror festivals across the globe.
Following this period and based on the success of the short we will look to develop the short into a feature length production of the short film.

In a world of endless sequels, reboots and rewrites, original storytelling is becoming increasingly rarer, and we feel this needs to change.
