Coaching at your finger tips
Cricket is my passion and has dominated my life, both on and off the field. I play, coach and watch the game. I have a vision to make cricket coaching accessible to anybody that wants to play the game and learn how to improve their skills.
My brother Sam and I believe we have found a way of bringing affordable and accessible cricket coaching to everyone by using interactive mobile phone apps. From our own personal experiences in playing and coaching in the UK and Australia we realised that there is a lack of ‘cricket training’ material.

Cricketcoach App in 2011 by Joe and Sam Eaton. We aim to provide a new affordable alternative to traditional coaching methods through an App. Making cricket coaching available on an digital platform provides a new pathway for players who wouldn't previously have had the opportunity to get involved. The business aims to increase levels of participation by attracting new players to the sport and by improving current player performance.
In addition, the business aims to enable more people including parents and would-be coaches to develop coaching skills through the use of the cricket coaching App.
We have launched version 1.0 in 2011 and was well received, but it had its technical faults, the content was regarded as excellent. The app has detailed coaching points, videos and images for batting, bowling,fielding and wicket keeping with analysis, challenges and common faults to assist the user, coach and player to improve their game and skills. As technology has developed new features and functions have become available. We wish to implement these to make the app more user friendly and add value to the user.

Development
Cricketcoach plans to develop the coaching app to take advantage of new technological developments introducing new features such as video comparison and enhanced user interface and navigation. These new developments are designed to enhance the user experience and add value to the product.

Planned additional developments are to translate the content into various languages to extend the business into the global market place.

The app is 80% complete and additional investment will pay towards the cost of finishing the app. Additional work involves, paying a coder to produce the new features and launch the app into the world.
We are passionate about this project and have invested 3 years into building this app and are now so close to being able to provide this coaching tool and your financial investment will make this happen.
Draft plans and new inclusions have been designed, we now need to money to implement these ideas into the new app. We are working closely with the developer and the costs for the development are £2,000. All the money raised will be used to pay for these developments to bring the new app to market as soon as possible.

The app is free to download and as soon as the development work is completed it will be available.
Finacial Target
If somehow we don't meet our goal this time, we will keep on trying as we are close to finishing. If we exceed our £2,000 target we will continue to develop the app and its interactive features with the extra funds. Researching new technologies and introducing even more features into the app
To date the current version of the app has been downloaded in 49 different countries, and has over 80,000 Facebook followers.
