Who are we & why are we here?

We are three students who share one childhood dream: to build our own games. Together we have set up our own indie game studio, and the Cublast adventure is our first big step towards making our dream reality.   

In the last months we have dedicated all our time and effort to developing Cublast. Unfortunately, hard work is not always enough. In order to make Cublast HD the best it can be, while actually surviving in the process, we are going to need some resources. 

With your support we can make sure that the game design is as smooth and polished as possible, we can create the most awesome soundtrack, AND we can avoid going homeless!

So what is Cublast HD?

In 2015, we released our first mobile app, ‘Cublast’, a minimalistic modern arcade game to play on your phone. 350,000 downloads and a lot of positive feedback later, we have decided to take it to the next level with Cublast HD, a console version with many exciting new features. What stays the same is the foundation, which is best described with a horrible but wildly appropriate gaming cliché: easy to learn, but hard to master.  

Cublast HD is all about practicing your agility in a variety of challenging levels. Each level has a starting point and an exit. In order to complete a level you will have to jump, roll and bounce around to collect blast points. The more blast points collected, the higher your overall score. Sounds easy, right? Well, it is. At first. But every level-up means new obstacles and dangers that will test your skills. Expect frustration, expect fulfillment, but above all, expect some serious fun.

Is there anything more fun than blasting cubes with friends? Team up and beat levels together or battle against each other for victory; it’s all possible. 

Use our built-in level editor to create your very own challenges and puzzles for others to explore.  

If you’ve played the Cublast mobile game, you probably know the frustration of running out of time when you’re JUST about to complete the level. No more! In Cublast HD you battle for the best time, but time limits are a thing of the past.

Where does the funding go?

ThinkFast Studio is an independent game studio from Zwolle, the Netherlands. The company was founded in 2015 by two childhood friends. Soon, a third member was added to the team.
