Our Story
Fuzzy Logic Pictures is a small collective of filmmakers, actors, and friends. We have been dreaming up, writing, and making films for years. Each of us has achieved our own individual successes in the world of film, theatre and television, but our dream has always been to find success making our passion projects, together. We would like to invite you to be a part our movement, and to participate in our upcoming production, Curfew. The film is directed by Shawn Christensen. Curfew tells the story of Richie, who, at the lowest point of his life, gets a call from his estranged sister, asking him to look after his 9-year-old niece, Sophia... whom he’s never met.
The film stars 10-year-old prodigal actress and model, Fatima Ptacek, Kim Allen (Army Wives), and Shawn Christensen.
Shawn’s directorial debut, Brink, has just been accepted into the Tribeca Film Festival. Curfew is produced by Damon Russell and Mara Kassin. Damon Russell's debut feature film. Snow On Tha Bluff, just premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Daniel Katz (Block) will be shooting the film. Andrew Napier (The Young Turks) will be assistant directing.
The Impact
Our hope is that Curfew will play at a number of top-tier festivals around the world and garner enough attention that we can turn it into a feature-length film. With your help we know that we can make this happen. The money that we raise here will be used to increase the overall production value of the film. It will give us more days to shoot, better equipment to use, and allow for us to hire the best possible staff to work with. The success of this film will help propel the careers of us all and fulfill the dream we’ve had for almost a decade.
What We Need & What You Get
We have just finished shooting the film. We have 10 hours of stunning footage. But we need to edit that down into a polished 20-minute film. This takes patience, time and above all, money. From editing to coloring to sound design, we have fantastic crew, but we need your help to raise enough money to get through the post-production process. We are looking for all types of donations. And I think you’ll find some pretty enticing perks come along with each donation.
