About "D20"
Joss is a game master, or GM, for his table top group. When he acquires a new twenty-sided die, aka a D20, and brings it into play, things start to get weird. As the players start to take the damage of their characters, he comes to the conclusion that his new die is possessed.
About Us
We are a diverse group of film students hailing from all over the globe. We come from different cultures and backgrounds, but we all have one goal, to take our script from paper to the big screen. We hope to hit our budget needs because of the scope of this project. We aim to do the majority, if not all, of the gore with practical special effects. That kind of ambitious approach can get expensive fast. We can't do this alone. Which is where you come in.
What We Need & What You Get
We need $3,500 to cover the cost of our overall budget. This money will go toward:
- Creating and building all of our practical effects for the film. We can't actually hurt our cast members for the means of the film. Apparently, that is illegal. So we need to fund an ambitious makeup team to create cuts, gashes, and even dismembered body parts!
- Preparing a set for our film. Building, purchasing, or renting what we will need to make our set as believable as possible.
- Feeding the cast and crew. We are going to be shooting over a four day time period. If we don't feed everyone bad things will happen.
But we don't expect you to donate without any return on your investment. We have a number of perks for you. Ranging from social media attention and digital copies of the movie, to customized dice bags, to certain props, all the way up to playing a one-shot game with our director and cast!
