Daryl Joyce is a highly regarded illustrator and designer, specialising in genre film and TV illustrations. His work has been used for numerous DVD and Blu Ray covers, books, animations, magazines and TV documentaries.

Having illustrated pieces for ‘Doctor Who Magazine’, ‘Doctor Who storybook’, ‘Doctor Who annual’ and the official BBC website e-book editions of several original novels, Daryl was approached in 2006 to provide the background art for some of BBC Studio’s animation projects including ‘The Power of the Daleks’.  Daryl’s work has also been presented more recently in the best selling  Telos publication, ‘The Illustrated Journey’.

This is Daryl’s first calendar.

Why we are using this campaign:

We are simply looking to cover the printing and production costs with this campaign (roughly £500) as we know we can reach both fans and art lovers worldwide and present this unique collection of Daryl's work to add to any household both throughout 2025 and beyond as a collectable.

We will be mailing the Calendars in plenty time to act as both a Christmas present and personal keepsake once the campaign closes and we have a fast turnaround with our UK based printers.

If we exceed the initial print cost of £500 we will be announcing perks at the £1000 stage plus so stay tuned for those!

If we fail to reach our initial target we shall add any shortfall ourselves and will still be printing the Calendars and sending copies to all supporters of the campaign. (Please note images are mock up art impressions of Calendar to be printed)

Risks & Challenges

The risks are minimal. The Calendar will if necessary be partly funded by ourselves. The artwork is nearing completion as of mid August 2024 and will soon be ready for printing.

We are confident we can enhance our offering with VAM Perks-  Out of our control is the availability of printing and postage. We will aim to meet our shipping deadlines and keep everyone updated if schedules change once funded.
