Letter from the Co-Founder
The first flask I was ever given was a humble 4oz which had my name engraved across the front, centered and crisp. Even at 4oz, I always tried to spread some around. I never forgot the people and journeys I shared with that flask, and I never forgot who gave it to me.
When designing our dual chambered flask I wanted to make sure to keep the heart and soul of what a flask is while enhancing all the things I loved about it. Dual chambers to enhance the sharability and versatility, viewing ports so you know how much is left to go around, wider spout for easier access; all while keeping the classic look and sleekness of a timeless hip flask.
I am confident we have turned what was a classic gift into the perfect gift. Join us on our journey, come together over our divide.

Uni-directional movement of the mouthpiece allows you to switch between your beverages with ease, while still retaining the natural unscrewing of the cap.

ACCELERATED FLOW RATE

Most flasks have a limited flow rate which can cause an inconsistent pour. The Dividere flask however, pours faster out of one side than a standard flask pours out of its entire mouthpiece.
All of our added features and our flask is only 0.3 cm thicker than a standard flask. We achieved this by bringing our mouthpiece's diameter to the very outer walls, unlike standard flasks. Our space is then optimized, increasing flow rate, all while keeping the design sleek.

EASY ACCESS

Most flasks are burdened by a mouthpiece that is less than a cm in diameter making cleaning impossible. With the added complexity of our design, easy access is now achievable, making cleaning effortless and enjoyable.

The Dividere Flask is able to pack all the innovation of the spinning mechanism into an 8oz hip flask, without compromising the convenient size and classic look. Our flask is only 0.3 cm thicker, 0.4 cm wider, and 0.7 cm taller than a standard 8oz hip flask, yet is able to provide a barrage of added features.

The first flask in our line will be 8oz. This size was chosen because it allows you to carry a sizable amount (4oz in each chamber) yet still fits in your pocket. If our first stretch goal is reached we would have the resources to design and manufacture other sizes. We are thinking 6oz and 10oz!
MATERIALS
Premium Food Safe 300 series Stainless Steel
Food safe EPDM/Silicone seals
BPA free, alcohol safe, food safe, glass-like plastic
Stainless steel is the most common hip flask material. But not all stainless steel grades are the same. We use the highest quality, food safe stainless steel at increased thickness, ensuring the product always looks as good as the day you received it.
The patented neck mechanism uses sealing elements that may contain silicone and EPDM. Both materials are FDA approved and completely chemically inert.
A durable, high transparency, glass-like plastic was chosen for the window material for a variety of reasons. The windows are the face of the product and a scratch resistant material can hold the pristine finish for a longer period of time. Plastic also handles much higher impact forces at thinner thicknesses than other alternatives. This means instead of a thick window required with glass, which also distorts the view and adds to weight, we can have a thin crystal clear window that won't break. So go ahead, drop it, the Dividere Flask is prepared for adventure.

The moving parts involved with seamlessly switching chambers are all CNC machined. This allows for tight dimensional tolerances and a precision you can feel in the smoothness of the twist.
The flask windows are precision cut using modern laser cutting technology. This enables perfect and consistent cuts with virtually no heat damage to the elegant flask face.

We have been fully funded on Kickstarter, so we have the funds to complete what we set out to do!
We have been prototyping and designing since 2015. To get the project to where it is now we have already invested thousands of hours to prototype, design, test, and develop relationships with key partners. We fully plan on seeing this through and are 100% behind this project.
We have great relationships with many machinists, engineers, and engineering companies. We have in house engineering consulting and the design is being rigorously tested. We have partnered with domestic manufacturers who have sent us samples and quoted us on all aspects of our design. We plan on paying premium to have first production runs occur in Canada before considering overseas to tie up any loose ends in the design/manufacturing processes.
Our team is diverse and covers all aspects of business from design and engineering to marketing and sales.
There are always risks and challenges that may push back our timeline, and we have built the timeline with this in mind. We will fully communicate any changes that need to occur with regular updates throughout the campaign until fulfillment.
We stand here today with the main hurdles behind us, we simply want to do more with this already successful project and bring more to our backers than we ever would have thought,
