Why DNA Life Bars?
DNA Life Bars were created out of a love
for well-being.
HI- my name is Brian Layne, founder and CEO
of DNA Life Bars. I created these whole food protein bars after my wife Elizabeth
was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2010.
With this life change, she took the non-traditional approach to her
well- being and choose an alternative method of healing that excluded medication and included whole food eating with no gluten, diary or sugar.
Being an active couple all our lives, we could not find a protein bar that Elizabeth could eat after a workout, a
hike, or just for a snack. I have always been the cook in the family and thus began
experimenting with different ingredients until I created a protein bar that met
her high dietary standard, and tasted amazing.
Elizabeth loved them so much and felt great eating them that she knew the bars had to be shared with the world!
Three years
later, Elizabeth has not had a relapse and attributes her good health and
healing to a clean and healthy lifestyle.

What We Need & What You Get
DNA Life Bars is at a critical point to take the business to the next level. We are seeking your generous support of $15k for pre-printed roll packaging that will allow us to transition from a commercial kitchen to a certified gluten-free co-packer.
Currently we manually prep each package with three labels- which is very labor intensive and time consuming! With your help we will be able to purchase pre-printed packaging for each flavor. And lastly, make the move from our three man baking operation in a rented commercial kitchen to a local co-packer partnership which will allow us to focus our time and energy to creating new flavors, on-line marketing strategies and be able to fulfill larger orders to mainstream retail stores.
